The post on what you like was interesting so I thought I’d make one for what you dislike about your class or spec.
This is less of a “give me buffs” thread and more of a “this doesn’t feel good” thread.
Do you have a doggy poo mastery? Is your level 50 talent row 3 really good (or really bad) choices?
Did one of your specs get changed too much?
I haven’t enjoyed sub rogue in years. On paper it doesn’t seem too complicated, but having to dance in and out of stealth and pop 18 dmg amplifiers makes my brain give up.

That we can’t use lightning bolt while moving any longer.

One of the biggest turnoffs for me for any class is if it has too many abilities which require their own hotkeys. I don’t wanna have to build more than 7 macros (4 main hand, 3 on mouse) to accommodate all of my abilities.
That, and healers shouldn’t have complex DPS rotations/priorities.
Personally, I think the monk healer does the best job at simplifying the main rotation down to 3 buttons (Tiger Palm, Blackout Kick, Rising Sun Kick) which have meaningful interactions with one another that aren’t entirely proc based. I think more dps rotations could learn a thing or two from its design.

Yeah healers can end up with a lot of hot keys.
I tend to use a lot of help/harm macros to help cut down. They’re really good.
Basically one button for flame shock and riptide. But if my mouse is over a friendly health bar, it heals. If I have an enemy selected or hovering over an enemy it cata flame shock. I pair similar spells together like that.

I have to say that some of the ‘pruning’ that’s happened and changing of spells makes Hunter a little less fun to play.
I miss having Camo be something I could use more often. I wish we didn’t have to choose between running quickly and having our heal come up more quickly.
I definitely miss having Dire Beast as a talent that was optimal. It was so cool doing the ‘beast cannon’ build. Yes I know a lot of folks didn’t like it. But it was really neat seeing my lesser used pets pop up. I also miss being able to choose my pets spec. I’d have my Cloud serpents out far more often if I could change them to Ferocity!
Oh and I really miss having a heal occur with Kill Shot. I sure don’t understand why that wasn’t added back when we got the ability returned this expansion.

Luckily i’m Outlaw main so doesn’t hit me too hard, but I find it insane that Sub & Assassination don’t get Gouge, such a staple Rogue ability, i’d feel naked without it.

Prismatic Barrier having to be refreshed so often and it’s so utterly weak for Arcane mage. It needs a buff, for duration and shield strength and not just a temporary powers buff, but something that’s part of the specialization onwards.

Shaman - idk it just feels bloated imo too much totems then needs be. all of them are also useful. other then that only other thing i dislike is in resto spec our water shield has 3 charges which depletes when you take damage. i honestly dislike this. i rather have a steady stream of MP added and the shield stay on for good.
i don’t remember but if i am not mistaken it depletes on any kind of damage be it melee or ranged.
it is what it is though i mean it’s not really a deal breaker to me

This DH? Too many buttons to push, need a simpler rotation.

Lack of proper AOE unless you talent it. They should make some of it baseline

Not a fan of most of the transmog sets for Hunters, that’s it really.

What I dislike about my class?
… Blizzard doesn’t want to acknowledge there is a slew of bugs involving Enhancement Shaman that prevents them from performing correctly.
Additionally the same goes for Demonology in which their most basic abilities to generate their resources doesn’t work, hindering their core ability to function.

Since vanilla getting dazed by mobs with freedom up triggers me to no end
One attempt was enough to stop me trying momentum on sylvanas.
The fact that Survival still exists in its current form. I effectively have 2 specs because I hate the third one. If I wanted to play melee, I’d play it. I play a hunter to be completely ranged because I dont like my makeup being ruined by being hit in the head by mobs…

Why isn’t Soulforge Embers a PvP talent or just a baseline talent overall? It’s an interesting concept, but I still question why it’s a legendary?

We have to summon a pet to hero even though many MM prefer lone wolf.
Trick shots was left out of the AoE uncapping.
Too little focus is gained passively and the level 45 talent row is wrong, wrong, and Double Tap.
MM healing is really really bad.
Bursting shot misses point-blank unless you stand in front of the target for a second or two.

- My rotation revolves almost entirely around RNG
- My goal is to extend a weak CD infinitely to normalise my damage. This isn’t possible with current content design
- The base design of the spec is reliant on specific talents, with no option to take other talents at all without significant dps losses (there are in fact talents that are a dps loss to take over no talent)
- I’ve been running the same talents since Legion
- 60-70% of my damage is based around RNG procs
- I require a minimum of 2 legendaries for 1 content type
- There is an extremely high APM with low output
- The ‘niche’ that we’re supposed to excel at is weaker than what other classes put out
- The other two specs are just as poorly designed, and less fun to play
- Rune of Power still exists
- The class that was once considered the most mobile now has some of the worst mobility in the game
- More and more bugs in all content each patch/expansion, and some that have existed for 16 years
It’s sad days when the last time the spec felt ‘complete’ was either late Legion or WoD…
