Can we chalk up Vereesa Windrunner as the biggest disappointment and missed potential in WoW this patch?

Having seen the war cinematic, she’s not even in the top 5 disappointments I have with Retail right now.

I don’t even want to log my Horde hunter main in to play out the story after watching that crap and I may actually be done with the absolute garbage that is passing for writing now.

I’m going to log into Classic when I get home and hide the Retail icon from my desktop. Looks like I’ll be in Classic and FFXIV until maybe 9.0 drops…I’m so pissed with how this played out that I can’t even express it without violating ToS.

High Elves are currently playable, and this very character is proof of this fact. Don’t believe me? Then simply reread the race selection screen and see that High Elves are now Blood elves.

The Quel’dorei Have never been playable. Never have and isn’t currently playable to this very day. Again your just thinking of Blood Elves instead of Actual High Elves on the Alliance side.

And how is it not true? You are a single, lone adventurer in this story. We as Players only play a single character in WoW. A person could play a High Elf adventure, and not need to have a full army behind them of other High Elves to do so. They just play one of the many heros other people play as in the story. Exactly. I mean I don’t have a army of Human Paladins or Priests behind me while I’m a Adventurer throughout Azeroth. Same can be said about playable High Elves of the Quel’dorei as well.

That’s a another thing that World of Warcraft is lacking now in days. There is no Adventure unlike Vanilla, TBC, and Wrath Days. Its just the Single Hero who is part of the story rather than helping others on your journey.

I wish that was the case, I really do, but no I am not. Blizzard has cast me as an Archdruid, a leader, the Hero of the Alliance. Champion.

My Zandalari Hunter main? Speaker of the Horde. Champion.

I understand this. And I agree with you on this. But that is not what I am talking about. You being the leader of your class and a leader of your factions doesn’t stop you from being a lone adventure of your race. While they do exist, it is not a necessity for then to exist. You don’t need and army of Night Elves to be a night elf, or Trolls to be a Troll, if you are merely just a player playing through an adventure and story. You are just one person, playing the same story as everyone else, in your own unique way. So as long as few exist, I feel anything is possible.

Sounds like Blizzard honestly. Even though Blizzard gave the Horde Night Elves model with just a few modifications and an entire zone to establish their lore, Alliance got Horde Blood Elves with a reskin and nothing but their starter zone in BFA to tell you what race you just rolled.

Now Vulpera based on a modified Goblin rig with its own High poly model is likely going to Horde, while the Alliance will just get a Gnome reskin.

Blizzard seems to like rubbing Alliance faces in dogpoop it seems. I thought Horde was supposed to be the underdog.

You play as one character in WoW, that is all. If you played as more then one, then you’re playing Warcraft 1-3. You, yourself, are a lone adventurer playing a part in a story. There does not need to be an Army for your existence as a character in the story at all. That’s my point.
