What do we get from Plunderstorm?

TL:DR - Can you get a mount or something cool from Plunderstorm? Or, is it simply a battle royal?

I just played a couple of games to check it out to see if I’ll get new gear, a mount, toys, or something. I got nothing. But that made me wonder… is there any type of achievement or item you can win by playing Plunderstorm?

I ask because I’m not interested in playing Plunderstorm, but I would be interested if I can get something awesome from it. I did do a little research online by watching a couple of YouTube videos and reading wowhead but I didn’t learn much other than that this is a battle royal.

You get 3 mounts 3 pets and lots of transmog.

I really want the mounts but cannot bring myself to actually play this mode. Too boring and too much of a grind.

The fun and excitement of trying to kill and survive a 60 person FFA?

Playing WoW for the fun gameplay (whichever aspect) by itself I assume is something many players haven’t done in years.

It’s a pirate game, so I assume everyone gets Scurvy for free.

Close. You have to pay to avoid getting scurvy.

Well, potential enjoyment if it’s a system you find engaging and cosmetic rewards. Blizzard wanted to experiment a little and added some incentives. I imagine they will look at the feedback after awhile and make decisions based off of what worked or didn’t work.

You can get mounts, pets and transmogs.
I’ve played a little, though none of my tranmogs (the daggers and boots) have shown up in Dragonflight.

Very early on renown wise you turn in a quest item(Keg) at Valdrakken Inn for a piece of Amirdrassil Normal lvl gear. Can only be done once per account.
