Since it sounds like the “boys club” culture and harassment have been going on for at least 17 years…it wouldn’t surprise me if they had paper complaints still on file somewhere

All companies have records they keep for 3-5 yrs ,reports from hr ,office /function budgets even events it all recorded for tax purposes. After several years these records are destroyed for up keep unless they are digitally recorded and keep safe.

Lawyers records are different ,they can last as long as the case is look into.

I don’t know what they shredded and I don’t know much about nothing else but what I do know is it makes me giggle when I see people in here demanding evidence and links and then when you give it to them they pretend as if it doesn’t exist LMAO

imagine a feral druid shredding youre homework same analogy here

The bigger issue is the fact that the penalty for destroying evidence has been determined by Blizzard to be the better option over letting this evidence come to light… scary.

They went full Enron. Never go full Enron!

Just found the incriminating evidence. It was hidden in a nest in Korthia all along!

They are, but the allegation is they were shredding things pertinent to investigation. Kind of like being under FBI investigation, and conveniently managing to have a hammer strike your cellphone, laptop, and desktop. Surely that won’t raise any eyebrows or cause some concern.

Legally you are supposed to keep HR records for a set amount of time.

Why are you still subbed and talking about this still. Dude give it up. The company is not going anywhere.

I believe that complaints filed with HR are supposed to be kept for 2 years after both parties have left the company. HR had a policy of destroying them after 30 days instead. Perhaps the HR head implemented the non-compliant policy and they fired him for putting the company at risk.

Someone start a guild called Shredding Inc haha id join it

This is the allegation:

“Shredding” doesn’t mean they are putting things into a physical shredder. It means destroying potentially damaging evidence (paper or electronic) to avoid having to turn it over to the as part of the discovery process.

Anything online is a lot easier to “shred:” with 1 command you can delete years of potentially damaging documents from a server. Emails, lots and lots of emails of people complaining to bosses, HR, and others and getting responses where those people acknowledge the issue but clearly take no action, are getting “purged as part of scheduled maintenance” or “it was archived but the archive system failed”. Same thing with whatever instant messenger system Blizz was using, “oops a system failure wiped out all the conversation history from 2010-present”

Yeah, but the players are. That’s the problem.
