Curious what people’s take is on what the classes are mostly aligned with in the grand Warcraft cosmology chart.
My Take on it as an example…
Warrior = Neutral/Elements? (because of thunder clap, storm bolt?) IDK.
Druid = Life/Order.
Mage = Elements/Order.
Paladins = Light/Order.
Priest = Light/Void.
Warlocks = Disorder/Void.
Rogue = Neutral/Void/Possibly Life(for some venoms)
Shaman = Elements/Life.
Hunter = Nature/Order.
Death Knight = Death/Elements.
Monk = Life/Elements.
Demon Hunter = Disorder.
Evoker = Elements/Life
Demon hunters are arguably a case of Order and Disorder, as their tattoos are arcane runes that keep their fel energies and “inner demons” under control.
I try my best to ignore the cosmology chart since it completely retconned the basic way the universe worked. So many things that had simple yet open ended answers are now both way too narrow and completely contradictory.
How does necromancy manipulate disease? Isn’t that Life magic? How is necromancy a force of Death when it literally brings people into a state of “unlife”. Shouldn’t necromancy be a mix of Life and Death magic?
Why is Arcane considered a force of Order when it was considered a force of Chaos since WC1 all the way up until Legion?
Rule #1 of building a fantasy world. Don’t completely change the basic fundamental pillars of your universe mid-way through.
