What do? *sadface*

From day 1 of the pre-patch…I have to entirely reset my UI on every character, every time I log-in.

All of my characters. Every time I log in.

I go into edit mode, I move everything around, I save and create a name for my profile, I save again.

It’s all beautiful while I play.

I log out, exit the game, do “real world” chores, etc.

I log back in…and everything is back to square one, and what’s an even worse kick in the shins is that under my loadouts…or profile names (whatever you call them) there’s nothing there–as if I never even did anything in the first place.

I officially give up.

The game is unplayable for me because it just resets every time I play,

I have no add-ons. Never have.

I just want to play,

Does anybody on the planet have any advice on how to stop this or what’s wrong? I’m so sad. Just happened again today, and I had to completely redo all my edit mode options, etc.

I created a profile and named it and saved it…but I bet anybody all the gold on Azeroth that that, too, will not be there again when I exit and re-enter the game.

sigh

Had the same problem. Delete WTF and Cache folders fixed it for me. Old data was corrupting the settings.

Also, export and save your UI into a text file then you can easily import it again if it deletes.

This. Very much this. Only a workaround, but hitting copy and paste is much better than setting up a UI each time.

Hopefully your other suggestion fixed it for them though.

Yeah, sometimes I try to get my UI from my main and it doesn’t work it takes me about two times to do it.

You can just save a profile, customize it and then reload that same profile for every character…

( After clearing your cache and WTF folders, whatever that earlier poster said since it appears to be glitching for you. That way you won’t have to redo profiles over and over. Good luck, OP. )

I have UI add on, and i never had any problems since patch
