I mean I’m just going to put in my two cents here as I have some experience to back up the opinion (achieved 2800 rating in BFA).
I believe everyone has set goals in WoW, kind of like in real life. I was really into RBGs when I first started WoW and I told myself I would get the Hero title. I finally ended up getting said title and I decided to make a new goal and found Mythic + to be very fun. I will tell you right now that doing +15 keys and high end mythic raiding is much harder than any arena or rbg, and a lot of raiders are pvpers as well. There is a very high amount of reaction time required for high end PvE and I feel it is as personally rewarding completing dungeons/raids as it is getting a certain rating in pvp.
At the end of the day, when you play enough arena or rbgs, you will start to see even most pvp matches are “scripted” and things will happen at certain times.
Last point is there is a very toxic community that clouds the high end pvp scene that I no longer want to be apart of, the egos are insane.

Actually, I do that when I get nice epics in every slot from LFR. I am not part of, nor wish to be part of, a guild and do normal raiding.
2s/3s is too predictable past a certain bracket. Now I live for lower brackets bc it’s a wild card too sometimes.
But ye, I love random bgs/skirms the most. Seen some crazy plays work (that wouldn’t with higher mmr) but nonetheless it’s entertaining and fun.

High PVP is literally the same as a scripted PVE fights, you already know what they’re going to do, y’all need to stop stroking yourselves with that.
I can only imagine the amount of times you tell yourself “I knew he’d do that”

I haven’t had BiS gear + cleared the raid for the tier at the highest difficulty since SoO. From Vanilla-end of MoP I did all that. Once I was set and the rest of our guild was too, we would take a break till the next tier (or expansion if it was the final tier) so people did whatever. For me, I usually played around on alts and on my main work on achievements and mount farm old content that I didn’t get.

Just looking at ur pvp achievements an you dont even have 1550 just the two of us. You dont have anything worth noting ur not even good either why you bragging??? This doesnt feel like the flex you think it is.

O im just picking at him mockingly, the way he called out people was semi funny, albeit old an boring I was at least hoping he was Rival or Glad.
Yet he hasnt reached the most basic PvP achs so I was wondering mostly. Haha

Hes saying PvE is scripted an EZ but like… if he only does BGs hes basically an NPC soooo can I farm him for gear till I get bored?

Uh, duh. We disenchant it. I mean, is this guy kidding me? What do you think we do with it? Wear it around and fight pve things like wrestle bears and pick flowers.
