Is not AOE, not sure why anybody would think it is… unless I missed something about the new DF talent tree, Murder of Crows is currently a single target DoT.
I like MM’s AoE toolkit (live and in the spec preview), but the positioning sucks. MM doesn’t even get base Multi-Shot until level 27 at the earliest, which is very late to be introducing basic AoE functionality. It also sucks until we get Trick Shots, which isn’t until 31 at the earliest.
I’d delete Quick Shot, move Killing Blow to Quick Shot’s place, move Multi-Shot to Quick Shot’s place, move Trick Shots to Multi-Shot’s place, and shift Bullseye down one row to Trick Shots’ place, to keep center column access to Volley.
On the class tree side, I’m not going to speculate because a Blue post has already confirmed there are some path changes around the AoE abilities in the bottom right.
I haven’t used Murder of Crows in a long time, but I recall it being single target. It wasn’t until I read your comment that I thought, “Shouldn’t it be an AOE based on the description?” It’s a group of crows. lol Just a random thought.
Somethign better than we have had in the past! Hunter AOE has always been super boring or mechanically broken to the point where it almost always pulls extra trash in dungeons. I didn’t care for volley, i didn’t really like glaive toss, i dont care for barrage, and i really dont like multi-shot either.
