What did you do with your stimulus check?

I bought 80 months of sub time for no reason.

Honestly We are doing perfectly so were just holding onto it, eating out some hoping the mall opens. I have to say I’m kind of grateful for the virus we’ve been doing like 12x better during it than without it going on part of me wish it could go on forever to be fully honest.

I’m Canadian and still working so I got nothing.

I bought an entire squad of Witch Elves!

Someday I’ll have a whole army!

New sound system for the living room. Dropped another k in stocks. I’m still working and had months of savings backed up for reasons like this. Might as well enjoy the money now before my taxes go through the roof next year

Didn’t get one because I’m in Australia but I did work overtime and bought a race change.

Besides that usual boring stuff.

I bought 200 McChickens and 200 Big Gulps for myself, still got like 700 to spare though…

Not sure what I’m gonna spend it on yet. Considering a graphics card upgrade, but I don’t really need one yet. Might just clear out my steam wishlist.

Working from home, definitely not doing better for my physical or emotional health, and the latter only because I care too much about doing my job right. Corporate and my office’s project managers are a troublemakers that seem to think I’ll take care of what they neglected to handle when they should have.

Saving my check for now. Maybe a new graphics card, but it’s not urgent, just some of the latest games are stressing my machine on their highest settings and it’s getting to me. Kind of don’t want to miss out on WoW RTX in SL if it looks stunning. WoW desperately needs a visual upgrade in the FX department.

The people on furlough can shut up about how well they’re doing. Anyone would be sunshine and rainbows if they were getting paid well despite not working.

I didn’t qualify for so I’ve been paying all my bills with my savings fund :frowning:

Fixed the head gasket and engine mountings on the lemon. “Buy American” they said. “Support American jobs” they said.

Yeah, the mechanics who are free to charge whatever they damn well please because they know you can’t do it yourself. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I bought oil tanker stocks as a short-term speculation. Once I cash out, I’ll move that money into one of my long-term stock holdings; probably 3M.

I’m going to renew my accounts for 6 no, set aside money for my phone which I pay for yearly, and set aside money for a trip to Men’s Warehouse because I’ve always wanted to wear suits instead of being a t-shirt slob.

lol…

Haven’t spent it yet, most likely will wind up saving it for when I leave my job. Got furloughed in mid-March and at this point I’m thinking that I won’t go back. Been so much happier without all that garbage in my life.

Worked as a lube tech and my boss is the kind of predatory salesman that gives everyone in the automotive industry a bad name. Gives vague half truths to customers, plays up extremely minor issues to get sales and then comes out and edits my reports to match what he’s been telling people. Reported him to corporate and they obviously don’t care, so I’m done.

Paid my bills while laid off.

I did not get 1.

Put it straight into savings, since I’m still being paid from my job.

I have a GTX 1080Ti and 32 GB of RAM, i7 8700K (I forget my other specs off the top of my head) so I figured I won’t be needing any PC upgrades for the forseeable future.
