I highly doubt he would settle for tea or water? Maybe soda or “Special Juice”?

Why wouldn’t he? There are numerous alcoholic drinks that use tea, and obviously water. A true brewer would appreciate the foundations.

Probably just beer. Bear beer. Considering he has an almost child-like obsession for the stuff, was probably deeply rooted into his childhood and made him a very early alcoholic… Which probably ran in the family as booze was the family business.

Even Li-Li is drinking beer at her age. Chen probably did the same.

Back on MoP there were several shortstories featuring Li Li where she would routinely drink beer.

Apparently, Azeroth’s laws are quite different than most RL laws in most places.

Of course she attempts to hide it from the Player indicating that she thinks the Alliance and Horde have laws against Kids drinking alcohol.

A form of “small beer”. To elaborate…

In many cultures throughout history that had the curiously common combination of poor water supplies (You probably didn’t want to drink that stuff straight) and brewing (It’s amazing how many people discovered some kind of brewing, or the equivalent) You didn’t want to get your kids sick on the local wel water, which… wasn’t nice stuff.

The solution? A weak beer (often less than a half percent alcohol) which was clean enough to drink, but didn’t get you (very) drunk-- and usually weak enough for the kiddies, who in a pre-industrial society weren’t exactly being raised for their brainpower, but for their ability to grow food or scrape dead animal pelts or whatever Daddy did, because of course you followed in his footsteps.

It’s more than likely that the average Pandaren kid isn’t drinking the harder stuff, but something with barely more punch than Gator-Ade.

There’s no way Pandaria has drinking laws of any kind

It’s actually the only race in WoW that I wish existed irl, because I’m sitting here tired of these terrible drinks in all of the convenience stores
