My druid is waving between Necrolords and Nightfae… What about you
While as it stands right now I will probably be Night Fae, story wise its Necrolords all the way. I love orcs and I love death knights, so the undead covenant with Draka as a leader calls to me. It is definitely where Malokh’s soul would have gone had he not been raised immediately.

I’ve got plans for a lot of my characters, but for my main none of the covenants stand out as a “yes I would like to tie myself to these people” choice, nor do any of the transmog sets fit the character. That takes it down to mechanics, so being an arcane mage, probably Maldraxxus.
Fal’therin’s a bit of a Kael’thas fan at least insofar as he believes that the Sin’dorei (and now Ren’dorei) should get stronger by mastering powers previously thought to be “too risky”. He’s not a Kael fan in terms of serving the Legion but in terms of thinking similarly to Kael otherwise I wonder if Revendreth is the place to go?
To be honest though I’m reserving my final decision until such time as I’ve quested through all the zones and got a real feel for them, and what they’re all about. As a Ranger of Quel’thalas he’s pretty in touch with nature, albeit in more of a hunter sense than a druid one. He could end up in Ardenweald. 
Sarestha, my Horde main, will likely go to Bastion because she’s a big Uther fan, and her mother would 100% have gone there. But Sarestha’s also got a lot of flaws, and so Revendreth may also work. Again I’m reserving my final judgement until I’ve quested!

Revendreth so I can be a goth vampire with blades for wings, the ability to throw posh parties for people, and to have free transmog.
ICly it’d be the same but less fabulous. Altielle has a lot she’d like to atone for. She’s peak Revendreth material. Scarred and damaged by her past, trying really hard to overcome it with mixed success, but unable to ever forget.

From an IC perspective I think it makes sense for Bren to go Night Fae since he’s a shadow hunter, and most of the loa-related stuff seems to be tied to that covenant/zone.
(OOC I’m actually torn between Night Fae and Venthyr as the ones I’m most excited for anyways, so it works out nicely!)
I’ll probably start Ardenweald solely because I’m most curious about learning what happens with the whole Bwonsamdi/Vol’jin story and its potential relevance to troll lore.
Once that’s over, I plan on going Revendreth because I think I can pick up decent cloth transmogs that look the least like armor and the most like actual clothing for RP. Also, the chance to plan and host your own fancy party? Yes please!
All the rest of my alts will go wherever for completion’s sake. Hopefully I’ll find something that unexpectedly grabs my attention. But as things look now, I don’t find any of the covenants especially interesting aesthetically and I’m not into pushing content so I could care less about which one has the most powerful abilities.
My troll here will probably go Ardenweald, although my main will most likely go Necrolord. I like Venthyr a lot more, but everyone says Decimating Bolt is just too strong to ignore…
My druid is also wavering between Necrolords and Night Fae.
He’s actually dual-classed druid/hunter, so one will go Necrolord, the other will go Night Fae.

Barring that, I plan on four “main” alts to put in each so I can see the story from each.
Not sure. None of them really fit a Shaman that well in my opinion. Was kind of thinking Bastion. Whichever one is “least-invasive” on the character is the plan.
My alliance main is going to Ardenweald with vines in his hair, and karithien is stuck between Bastion (because paladin) and revendreth (because blood knight).

maldraxxus is basically otielle’s version of heaven
so ardenweald or venthyr because the covenant abilities aren’t totally useless for DK

All of them – but RP-wise, this Sef (the actual main) would likely go Bastion.
I have a 120 Velf Sef (very voidy) on an Oceanic server that would be more aligned with Maldraxxus.
Then, currently baby (in the 50s) Cef, Void Elf (will get a High Elf makeover), on WrA would definitely be with the Venthyr.
Finally, I plan on doing the new starting experience with a new Sef on Ravenholdt, who will very much be a throwback to the first rogue (and first Sef) more than what she became. That puts her with Nightfae.
That’s leather sorted, I suppose.
Cef, A-side here, might be the rogue I play the most in SL due to O-hours guild + bag space :0
Segue here, but is there an oceanic RP server that I’m unaware of? Or an actual oceanic server that the community has settled upon as being RP? Just being curious here.
