I plan on joining the venthyr as I like there armor the most the ability is a nice also vampires C:
Venthyr, DK has no movement, Venthyr gives movement. easy choice. All the DK class abilities are pretty lackluster anyway. Also Venthyr soulbinds are just broken, an extra unholy frenzy for just fighting mobs? thatâs all I do anyways.
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
I meant mainly the Abomination Limb. An extra death grip just doesnt seem that great to me when compared with what Venthyr offers.
I dont pvp much on this DK so, im most likely wrong here lol
I think it spams death grip for a while, I could see it being really useful for things like the packs in JY that jump around like theyâre all hopped up on Mountain Dew.
YOU WILL STAY IN THE BLIZZARD AND YOU WILL LIKE IT!
Edit: Just thought of, itâs probably pretty awesome for sanguine, too, if you use it right. The mob pack just keeps being repositioned as you move with zero effort, even if they are casters.
For ma rouge, it will be maldraxxus, I quite literally csnt pass that rouge set, it is so disgusting and amazing and I want wait to rock it as both male and female whenever I flipping want.
Now that it is confirmed that they will be making balancing adjustments through the expac - Iâm just going to pick what Covenant speaks to my character.
Iâm not going to run around for two years, hating the additional customization of my character and the main environment I must interact with, when they actively plan to pull rugs out from under feet as the âbalanceâ between the covenant powers play out over the course of the expac.
Screw that noise.
Iâm approaching it the same way I approach class selection, really. If one is just OP broken Iâll probably at least roll an alt to see what the fuss is about, but for my main Iâm picking the one that I think is the most fun.
Iâm not going to make a final choice until Iâve played through the four covenants. After seeing the content, I will be able to choose what works for me. That said, right now movement abilities look pretty good for a movement challenged classes like Deathknights and Warlocks.
Tru. This whole debacle after reading people response to really boils down to your mindset. Some people love getting that extra dps, and thatâs perfect. And some people dont care, which is perfect. I dont think itâs fair to entirely blame the system when it doesnât conform to a certain people mindset while appealing to both.
Thereâs zero common ground on the issue, itâs a fascinating debate.
How does locking someone into a decision, conform to both playstyles, when they admittedly state, they donât care? If it was unlocked and you could switch between any of them, they still wouldnât care.
Except that, I care about both. Iâm highly invested in my characterâs story (RPâer) and equally invested in personal performance (H. raider).
Blizzard has set up a system that is designed to force choosing only one dish in an MMORPG that is designed as a buffet of gaming experiences.
Then, just to kick you when you are down, theyâre going to measure how many players are taking dishA and then buff/nerf accordingly so all the food is sampled. Itâs just a lousy system that is designed with only the mono-feeder, most likely to be a cyclical gamer, in mind.
If I only came here for the game-play mechanics, and then restricted myself to one of four end-game paths, the design would be awesome!
For min maxers, there will be ome choice and one choice only, and thatâs just going to be the truth. Itâs such a polarizing topic. People want choices to matter. Min maxes want everything at their fingertips to maximize their output at any given time. Blizzard doesnât win here.
At the end of the day I dont personally care, I know what I want. But I want to see how it goes. Theres so much difference in every covenant for all walks of life Iâm not sure how you can sim that.
Resto druid night fae.
Iâm a basic nature boi.
Venthyr/Kyrian. Whichever is the best when the xpac comes out. The other 2 for hunter PvP are pretty bad.
Seems like this crowd doesnât want that unless theyâre forced into it. They could always make their own meaningful choice and stick with it, while others would be able to change. But they refuse that, saying other people having options ruins their ability to decide to stick with one.
Because one covenant will be better at Mythic+ and another at Raiding. I like doing both types of content but I like doing Mythic+ more; because I donât have a Mythic raiding team available at hand.
Blizzard is limiting me to pick which one will and can possibly be at peak performance or weak in the other. âmin-maxersâ or the proper wording, players who like playing at their most optimal, lose.
The only people who donât lose on this, are anyone who doesnât care about being the best they can possibly be at any time.
True. Although if covenants open up, I bet the forcing into a certain cov for groups would get even worse. Theres just no winning here lol
Leaning toward Venthyr or Night Fae. Not a fan of the other two for aesthetic and philosophical reasons. Gonna wait till SL and playing through the content to make a final decision.
It wouldnât be very meaningful if we were able to switch.
