What constitutes GDKP?

I’ve never been a fan of GDKP’s. As far as I know GDKP means you bid on loot, and at the end that gold is distributed amongst the people in the raid.

I am wondering if in SOD would selling a mount I won for gold count as GDKP?
or NOT because there was no gold distributed at the end?
