We defeated all of the nerubians of the black empire and Xal’atath is still out there with the broken dark heart artifact so what comes next? Some say we go far deeper in the rootlands or we just go to the Goblin Isle of Kezan or we fight the remnants of the black empire from Ahn’qiraj and Azjol’nerub or something. Any thoughts?
Based on some dialogue new NPCs have in Dornogal. We might be going to some island off the coast of Khaz Algar as there is a crystal, most likely the very crystals that Archaedas was talking about in the most recent (of this post) archive disc quest. We got Goblins wanting to investigate it as well as the Arathi. With the latter beginning preparations to build an airship construction site on the surface.
11.0.7 might be helping the Arathi build up their airfleet from their surface air base. If the 10.X.7 patches are to by, we will most likely have access to the first chapter of the 11.1 campaign in 11.0.7.
Find it stupid that there is literally one of these things sticking out of an island and no one has noticed it before. Really can tell the writers are struggling to keep ontop of developing the story when they are pulling things out of midair that make no sense for the rest of the setting.
In what regard? The player chars and associated chars have never been to this part of the world before. The earthen (new dwarf people) had no reason to leave where they are or even care about it. The arathi have been stuck down in hallowfall the whole time. Where does it not make sense to you?
No doubt the 11.1 Zone will be Beledar itself while the 11.0.7 Patch Zone is the Island that Beledar is imbedded in.
It is theorized that the crystal we used to destroy the void box in Season of Discovery is one of these crystals that Archaedas mentioned.
Although Season of Discovery’s whole shtick when it comes to lore is “retcon through gameplay”. Which I like more than “retcon through non-gameplay”.
Now that we know that the Island is the .7 patch. I think we’ll either get a nature based zone starring the Harronir, or a goblin themed zone as the 11.1.
We go to Kezan, but it is still all about Anduin and Alleria somehow.

I could see a Rootlands - Undermine combo, like how Nazjatar and Mechagon was for Patch 8.2.

In short, my guess is that we fight Gallywix, his goblins and other forces while also learning about and strengthing our bonds with the Nerubians and Harronir . At this point one of three things happens.
- In the process, we find out Beledar is much bigger than previously thought, and it gets severely damaged. This damage could lock it into Void mode permanently, which causes a lot of bad blood with the Arathi.
- We find out some “dirty secret” about the Titans and continue down this “retcon the Titans into bad guys” arc. Existing enemies try to exploit this discovery and either claim Titan gear for themselves or recruit disenfranchised Earthen.
- Both.
We’re going to be doing donuts in Undermine and challenge the classic Top Gear Trio for the title of worst drivers in creation. And we will be doing DoorDash quests.
I assumed we were going into the Void but it might be too soon.
Whoever had K’aresh in their bingo card, it is certainly looking more likely.
