I remember at Blizzcon I believe it was said that classic had been running on the 7.3.5 client, however I was wondering if it had been moved over the 8.1 client as this had all the DX12 enhancements finalized.
Apologies if this has been addressed already.
Latest information is showing it being updated to the 8.Whatever client.
Seeing as it now uses the 8.x client I’d imagine it will be using the same version as BfA as new versions come out.
Shame with the loss of true fullscreen though, really does a number on some laptops.
Yeah that is a shame, but I suppose since it’s only classic wow, it won’t hit them as hard as retail. Especially if you have a decent laptop with dx12 or run the game on “classic” graphics mode.
Probably not, I’m running on a desktop myself, but a none-gaming laptop I have went from running ok on 4k with most settings maxed to stuttering on any setting. Might be a dual GPU issue that can be resolved, at least I hope so for the sake of those that are only relying on a laptop.
