I think the best easily goes to Night Elf druid and the worst probably mechagnome monk or undead monk
people might be quick to say Lightforged Warlock but i think these can be easily excused as Lightforged version of Wardens ( wardens specializing in weaponizing the fel against demons)
The reason Monk for these classes is bad
Monks use the element spirit(life) to fuel into their abilities. Undead are well… undead so they shouldn’t even have spirit/chi and mechagnomes are going out of their way to replace their body with mechanical parts… so again lack of “spirit.”
The willpower/discipline aspect of monks is a natural fit for the forsaken, and their usual inclination for alchemy would work well for a brewmaster. Spirit is associated with but still seems somewhat distinct from Life magic(much like Decay is from Death). So the combo seems a little odd at first glance but not entirely out of the realm of possibility imo.
Any kind of draenei or mag’har warlock is an infinitely worse pick.
Orc Warrior is just class, pure class. Tauren Shaman also thematically gold.
I don’t like pooping on player choice so i think all race/class combos are justifiable, but when the KT lady said “What’s a shaman?” during the quest to unlock the race, I was upset. That was disrespectful. But I also love my KT shaman so whatever.
Dark Iron Paladins are also a lore abomination but once again DI are so cool it doesn’t matter.
A red draenei warlock who rebelled against the Legion and escaped and brought with them a bunch of misfit demons who were also rebels, just hanging out and doing silly things where the felhunter is the only one with any sense forced to watch the others make complete fools of themselves on a daily basis is 100% a show I would watch though.
Best is og wc3 stuff like orc shaman, night elf druid, human death knight/paladin. The worst is the ones that mangle lore to exist like goblin shaman, void elf holy priest, lightforged shadow priest, and blue draenei warlock.
Lightforged warlocks always reminded me of a warhammer psyker. They use them, but keep them on a short leash and would probably not hesitate to kill them for the smallest sign of corruption or evil deed
