In terms of lore what would be your top 3 picks?
Mage, Hunter and Paladin.
Rommath(Mage), Lor’themar and Halduron(Hunters), and Liadrin(Paladin) are their racial leaders.
Mage, Lock, and Pally.
Gonna agree with Hypheria. Mage, hunter, and paladin are the three classes that actually have organizations in belf society/government (magisters, farstriders, and blood knights).
Any melee.
Since Torrent is best used when proximity to your target.
… But then again, they’re also the only Horde race that gives an extra crit chance.
EDIT: Oh in terms or lore? Uhhh… Actually, all the melee classes also work with the exception of warriors imo.
I like Holy Priest because it’s literally a WC3 unit. I been Belf Holy Priest since BC. Only other unit I’d want to play is Belf Spellbreaker.
Where did you get lock? I dont know any lock in Blood elf society
You do see a couple just hanging out with their succubi in Silvermoon, but that’s about it, I think. No one actually notable other than the trainers, which hardly counts anyway lol.
Mage, obviously. Hunter, representing the Ranger tradition (and that High Elves were ranged units when introduced in Warcraft II) , and for Sin’dorei after the sack of Quel’Thalas, Paladin for the Blood Knight Order.
pallies all pallies.
Mage
Hunter
probably Paladin but not totally sure about their lore in terms of Paladins.
Hot babe
Mage
Hunter
Couldn’t tell you, they all seem very fragile. Might be lacking in calcium intake
Paladin is something they only have had since re-naming themselves Blood Elves.
If you hop on BC Classic, you can play the original “bad guys stealing the Light from the Naaru” origin of that. Liadrin, a former Priestess, disillusioned, was the first to learn to tap Holy power from M’uru. The Blood Knight order was founded on the principle of Retribution - it’s a pretty dark take on Paladin, but essential Blood Elf racial lore.
The redemption arc of later BC makes up all the Quel’Danas dailies, Magister’s Terrace, and Sunwell Plateau. Liandrin is still fierce, but no longer cruel. She was also our primary racial representative in the Suramar campaign in Legion.
Paladin is absolutely core to who the Blood Elves are, distinct from their Highborne origins, or their High Elven isolationist period. Definitely worth a spot in the signature top three, and I don’t just say that because I play one.
I am impresed nobody has said warlock… Most of blood elves have green fel eyes which fits for destruction
All of them. Every class fits BEs but unfortunately BEs can’t be all classes.
/sob.
- oh, you meant lore-wise. oops.
Mage,paladin and lover.
Mage, Hunter and Paladin.
Thats my top three. Though you could switch out Mage and Warlock I think.
Mage, Priest, and Warlock. I never see them as melee users. They are spell casters to me.
-
Mage. The OG Mana Addicts.
-
Hunter. The Farstriders are YUGE.
-
Paladin. The Blood Knights.
Honorable Mention) Warlock. Being Mana users that at one point would do literally anything for it(including bargaining with dark forces), Warlocks are definitely a part of Blood Elf culture. Even if they remain discreet and in the shadows.
