What classes do you guys think would be best for a solo player?

Rogue came to mind, due to being able to stealth. I don’t really know how well they do in PvE these days though.

What do you guys think?

I would say either a Warlock or a Hunter as both classes have a pet that can tank for you and help keep the NPCs off of you.

…this. At the moment I personally am having a good time with affliction warlock for soloing most things.

Or, you can go with a tank class, if you don’t mind a slower speed.

Warrior, monk, death knight, druid, paladin, and demon hunter (skip this last one unless you want to sell your soul). Anything that can be a tank will be easier to solo with due to their higher durability.

Hunter/Warlock to have a tank buddy or Rogue/Druid for stealth.

Stealth really isn’t a major boon in soloing, it’s not a whole lot of use to you in combat and the advantage of actually sneaking past stuff doesn’t really come up a whole lot, especially not when you can often just fly over it to begin with. Great for PvP though.

Warlocks, Hunters and Demon Hunters are probably your best choices. Hunters and Warlocks have a lot of survivability tools, as well as a pet to tank for them, and Demon Hunters have a ton of healing and AoE, they’ve got a ton of utility, and I can’t emphasize this enough, but they’re also REALLY hard to screw up on.

It’s not a troll thread. Put the torches and pitchforks down. I haven’t played wow in several months.

Not much has changed in several months, or several years for that matter. But, if you are being serious, and want to roll a melee dps, then try a paladin. Flash of light self heal. And it often procs for the the instant heal, or at least it used to.

Hunter gets pet, FD and camo, so they’re probably the best solo class.

Hunter for pet, feign death, camo (as mentioned above). Also a fairly forgiving class for new players.

Druid for stealth, toughness, and utility. Self-heals, feral has an increased movement speed, moonkin form to flap/slowfall, instant travel form, etc.

hunter is good i enjoy my bm hunter alot.

Enhancement shaman :slight_smile: Earth elemental if you need someone to tank for you for a bit
