I’ll be doing all the pet classes: Unholy Death Knight, Beast Mastery Hunter, Feral Druid, and Demonology Warlock. I’m actually unsure I can even get past level 70 since I don’t have TWW to receive the class mounts via reaching max level. Hopefully I can at least complete the campaign and put that sweet Azshara Dress on my Kul’Tiran.
Was thinking of taking this opportunity to finally force myself to level a priest. But I know I’ll just make a warrior for that zugmaxing lifestyle.
Demon hunter or Paladin will be my first. Then depending on how borked the levelling is I may crush out some other classes (there’s a couple of allied races I need to do for the heritage armor)
What’s happening with the original class mounts, will remix characters be able to access them easily or is it just the new “fel” type versions?
The original class mounts are still obtainable in retail. The Fel mounts can be obtained by either hitting level 80 with the specific class or purchased with bronze.
Open question - do we know if bronze is warband tradable? I’ll level each class for the separate achievements but as someone who also wanted to push one class to god status, I’m not keen on ending up with a bunch of characters all carrying some bronze (but not enough to buy anything).
It’ll be like timewarped badges all over again.
Yeah, i know they’re still in retail, but so are the raid mounts and stuff that will be on the remix vendor, i was kinda hoping they’d be available on both.
I’ll probably be going with either a Paladin, Death Knight, or a Demon Hunter first, The only class I know I wont be using for my first Legion Remix character is a mage since that was the only class I ever went fully through the Legion Expansion with.
Considering I already have 65 level 80’s and have all classes and specs covered I honestly don’t know.
If we’re talking the Class Hall mounts from Legion, that honestly shouldn’t be an issue. Keep in mind that post SL level squish, the level cap for Legion was 45. I’d imagine the various campaigns are going to be looking at that as the “cap” for Legion since the Remix events are still on the Retail servers and following the logic of 45 being the “max” level for Legion.
Now, as far as those go, that could be an issue.
With that said: keep in mind that 11.0 dropped on July 23rd, 2024. We had overlap with the pre-expansion stuff and MoP Remix, but naturally the release of 11.0 marked something else: that was the day that Dragonflight was added to the base game.
I expect you to have at least a few weeks to hit 80 before the event ends, but realistically it shouldn’t take you very long as you can do 70-80 in just a few hours on Retail currently. If my predictions and expectations are correct, I’m expecting 12.0 at some point in December. From there, we already know that Remix is ending on January 19th. If things follow the same pattern as the transition from DF>TWW, then the most likely release date for Midnight is going to be January 26th, although when I look at the calendar, I can see that potential release timetable getting moved a week back as the Call of the Scarab event would have some overlap with Midnight early access if they do indeed have it planned for the 26th.
Unless Blizzard has massively overlooked that and is potentially in a position where they can’t move the launch back, I just don’t see them allowing that event to be active when Midnight early access begins as you can massively cheese that event with repeated turn ins to completely negate leveling while it is active.
horde: demon hunter
alliance: priest
Warrior. I need a plate wearer and I’ve got all the paladins.
… What? The title of the post specifically states REMIX. I’m obviously talking about hitting level 80 on Remix for the fel mounts. 11.2.7 is what comes out in December for housing early access.
I was going to throw Druid out first but with no MT return I will probably skip Druid altogether.
DH/DK are my front runner choices atm.
I’m finally going to do a hunter. Never got a hunter past like 30, and that was way back in bc times
Druid, so I can enjoy the fel flight form and likely a paladin because I want to be able to have 4 paladins with the same name at max level for AH reasons.
I’m not sure if the pre expansion event will hit during Remix, but if it does, 100% will level a DH to try out devourer.
I want to level a shaman and a dk. Ill probably heal on the shaman, and I know the dk will be blood. (I really like the alpha blood testing thats been coming out for midnight)
I think i should do shaman first because I never actually did shaman in legion, and this will let me fully see the campaign.
I heard you no longer need bronze to become more powerful. Bronze will just be for cosmetics and power comes from something else.
I’m thinking frost mage because that’s a spec I don’t play in live often and a demon hunter
Druid, so I can race change to Haranir in Midnight. Maybe also Ele Shaman, if there is time.
