Hey guys I decided I wanted to roll a melee dps with a tank off spec that is good at wpvp and arena. What would you guys recommend?

Best wpvp is obviously a demon hunter. But DH tank playstyle is miserable.

Hopefully it’s changed since Uldir, but back then, the best build for PvE sustained survivability effectively involved spamming your builder and never using your spender. That’s hilarious to me.

There were other options that were better at different things, especially predictable burst, but still.

i’m pretty sure they still heal through bomb and never use spender

tank off spec is just something i would do for occasional dungeons its not a big selling point of the class for me. i just want the option to tank if i ever feel like it. wpvp and arena is my big focus

If you look at 1800+, classes with tank specs by % would be unholy dk > monk > retri pal > arms war > DH

haven’t played monks. Paladin dps for me is pretty annoying with his stolen from rogues combo mechanic, but pally tank is pretty chill cause he has no resources, just cooldowns.

warrior is warrior, does what warrior does. DK is op as usual, but i don’t like two different resources in use.

Not a clue, they all do WQ’s and dailies in blood spec so i don’t attack them.

so if they do it as blood im guessing dk is bad in wpvp then lol

more like a blood being OP, cause he’s pretty much immortal but still deals a lot of damage.

general lack of utility and RNG-based save abilities the reason i guess. But on BG’s and wpvp dh is my fav

this is a alt of Feldamir btw. my friend i plan to play with alot plans to play a warrior if that helps you guys any that or his ret pally.

DH checks all your boxes except being a good tank.

The answer is always Hunter then Death Knight then Paladin. So in your case, DK or Paladin.

If you dont run Spirit Bomb you are screwed.

We’re good at wpvp. A bit less now people can fly but our mobility is still where we are top tier.
