What Class will you be playing and why?

When I played vanilla way back in the day, I started as a druid but played warlock all the way until the end of BC. This time around I will love to play a hunter. I love hunter pvp with eng and since I don’t plan on raiding much, if I do raid I have no issues not being top DPS. Which classes will you be trying out/ playing this go around? If you played back then will you try to recreate the experience again or will you play a different class with all the knowledge we have this go around?

Rogue first because they are fun and top dps in raids. Druid second because I was a resto druid in vanilla and druids are so much fun.

I was a resto druid through all of vanilla, so I’ll probably be playing that class again. Maybe priest, if I have enough time.

As of right now I’m planning on playing Hunter because they are a very strong solo class.

A nice bonus is that they are also good in BGs when those come out.

As someone who wants to Main Tank; what other choice do i have?

Gonna do a Gnome Mage because I have never done either before so I figured why not? And I know in Vanilla WoW Gnome is a good race for spellcasting

My guild wants me to bear tank in raids (2nd tank of course). I was considering a warlock, but they seem pretty adamant about me starting Druid to off tank and off heal, with occasional dps. I think they just don’t want to struggle with too many warriors…

Warrior. I’m a one note guy and there are NEVER enough tanks.

And if all I ever do is tank? Hey, I did the arms/fury “crush the meters and be 20% ahead of the #2 parser” thing a decade ago. I’m over it.

I know I’ll play a mage. Ports. Food and water. Mana gems. High DPS. Always getting invites to raids.

Warrior. Love the look and feel. Tanking. As a tank, everyone wants you.

Druid. They are cool. Shapeshofting. Best buff in the game. Can stealth. Can fill any roll. Can you say AQ20/40?

Warrior. Thats what I first rolled and so it shall be again.

Not sure which will be my main. 1st toon ever was a warrior. Then mage. Then druid. All in 05. Mage became my main.

I’ll try it out since I never played back then and I want to see the game world before it was ruined by the cataclysm. So I’ll be making a Mage because free food, portals, and good CC. Whether I keep playing beyond the month my last token gets me remains to be seen.

My main has always been a druid. I’ll be rolling one in vanilla too. Gonna do the heals, the innervating of priests and mages, and the battle rezzin’. It’ll be nice feeling flexible on the fly again… Last time I could remember it being like that was Wrath…

Won’t know for sure until I’ve made a few alts and messed around, but trying warlock first. Summons, cookies, excellent solo ability, free 1st mount which will be a huge plus, and of course… watching people die to dots in pvp.

I’ll make a druid. I never got my druid to 60 in vanilla, played too many alts.

That being said, I will probably also make a shaman, priest and a mage… I may have a problem.

Night elf priest cause it’s the first toon I ever made :slight_smile: hopefully I can get the same name even.

Side note, can anyone tell if I’ll get starshards in vanilla? I can’t remember if that came in The start of BC?
