What class is the best in 1 vs 1?

Hello, pvp fellows. What class do you think is the best in dueling and 1 vs 1 situation in open world ?

Well, It would depend on a few things, like the actual players, class counters, when you’re attacked in WPvP “already low hp” ect ect
 But I’d say the best class to survive in WPvP on is between hunter, rogue, and mage.

As for dueling, I think rogue. but the other 2 mentioned are really good and can also be subjectively called the best.

I’m not sure how things work in Classic, but I would assume rogue.

I meant the best 1 vs 1 class in retail. Sorry for the confusion.

well definitely rogue then. Not to say other classes don’t work, but rogue historically owns 1v1.

What spec is it ? Outlaw, sin, or subt ?

A bit biased here but I think Pack Leader Survival Hunter is pretty good in a 1v1 and easily counters rogue. The self sustain we have is insane and we can also pull some nutty stuff in WPvP.

Prot warrior is pretty good 1v1 and 1v2. We can take a ton of damage and not die and do good burst with cds and sudden death procs plus 35% execute range. Can do 3 to 4 executes for a million plus damage each in 3 to 4 globals. Shield charge hits hard as well. And shield slam too.

If we leave tanks out it’s absolutely got to be a frost mage or a hunter. Both classes have insane mobility and enough auto cc to just wear any other class down. If I had to choose between the two I gotta say hunter though. The burst is capable of killing from half health even with defensives up


Although to be completely honest if I see a warlock in the open world I won’t even bother. Lol. It’s a toss up really.

Wait are we including healers here? Because it’s definitely a healer if so.

In 1 vs 1, it’s either an eternal fight or dps drains healers’ mana and finish him. I don’t see how healer can win a 1 vs 1 match up with all dps having self-heal now.

Technically, anyone who can decide to no longer engage in the fight can win every time.

Cloak into Vanish makes rogue the chief every time.

But if you’re talking about like just two sweaty dudes beating on each other til someone falls over, that’s kind of the whole crew, in the right hands. Three classes have a ‘immune’ button and can then heal to full which is horse hockey, and other classes are a little more honest about when their big obvious damage is coming out it boils down to rock-paper-scissors counters and in the event of paper vs paper, player skill.

TLDR the answer is rogue

It’s feral or rogue. I’ve been enough dueling tourneys to know either one wins.

Yeah but the buffs we get this expansion compared to last expansion don’t make that big of a difference. It’s pretty much just flask, food buff, and hollowfall infirmary.

Even without buffs pack leader has a lot of self healing.

I noticed that Bivigosa’s blood sausages still work as well.
