Thinking about jumping into SoD what classes are fun/feel good?

Can’t go wrong with a Priest, Shaman or Warlock atm. All feel really good. Even post nerf Hunter is fun. Just a matter or opinion I guess.

It really depends on what you want to do. Balance druid with starforge is great. Shaman tank can be good ret pally is broken, Mage are the AOE kings like always. war can be fun in pvp but you need a healer. rogue with stealth can open up and kill people pretty easy and Priest are the most annoying thing to kill same as warlock fun doting things up and master channeler is dumb lol.
Tank warlock was fun but now no one tries to attack you in open world so it gets boring.
I think it depends a lot on what you consider to be content in the game, what you want to get out of it, and what your playstyle is. Personally, I find warrior to be the most fun group-content class, but I also have a friend who deleted his semi-bis geared warrior after 2 BFD runs, because he hated the class.
Anyway, just as warriors are probably the kings of group content fun, I’d say mages are the top solo-content class, and a pretty great all-around class for most content.
Hunters and Priests, the traditional top-dogs of the 19/29 Twink Tier lists have been about on-par with expectations for Phase 1.
If you ever felt like you really liked the class fantasy of druids, and wanted to play feral but worried about finding a raid spot, you’ll love SoD since every melee party is going to want to have a feral druid! That means you’ll probably see about 4-5 of them in a 40-man raid.
Other than that, Warlocks and Rogues have both been given some runes that make them viable as tanks. Oh, and Paladins currently seem to have pretty strong performance across all roles, but we should keep in mind, the current level cap is still 25, and as you’d expect at level 25, you could pretty much faceroll all content without even using any talents while in gear itemized for a completely different spec and/or class.

the best class to play is in the following order:
- druid, rogue, warrior, mage
- shaman, priest, warlock
- rock
- twig
- pebble
- hunter

Eh… with the possible exception of mages, and they haven’t been nearly as popular in phase 1 (from what I’ve seen) as they should be, I’d say hunters are the most fun solo-content/wpvp class.
I’ve definitely had more fun questing, messing around in the world on my hunter than on other classes, though I only have Hunter, Warrior, Druid at 25 and geared with at least revered rep, maxed profs, gold for mounts, full runes, and everything else one might expect for a main.
Depends on your preferred playstyle. Classes are rather unique from each other in this version of the game.
I’ll just warn you that warrior doesn’t get fun until later on, hunter doesn’t get fun until you get pet

I’m biased, but druid. Open world is pretty easy with good sustained DPS, stealth, and self healing. People have mixed feelings about cat powershifting in group content, but if you like it, you generally tend to really like it. PvP is fun since you can just swap out runes to get starsurge and wild growth which are both very good abilities.
they nerf’d the f out of “fun” on hunters after they get the pet, so they are now just “un”
Yes keep pretending like only being 3rd place is so awful…

Which is crazy because I haven’t even heard priests complaining and they arguably got a rougher deal with them not getting anything in return for their healing nerfs. Hunters get more reasonable focus regen and 10% damage nerf to their pet and bawl their eyes out and start pretending like they’re doing less DPS than shamans. So delusional. It’s so funny too the way they had to sweeten the justifiable nerfs with buffing other areas of their class when frankly they just deserved nerfs.
Nothing is fun at 25.

To each their own. Find something else if you’re unhappy, but your opinion isn’t fact.
Resto druid off healing. Still spam wrath for free to proc instant healing touches, can starsurge for 4 mana when you don’t need any mp5 regen. Keep FF up on the boss. Wild Growth and rejuve as needed. It can be quite an offensive healer.
