My Mechagnome was originally going to be an M&M Hunter, but Blizzard attached an unavoidable organic bird to them and sadly we are not allowed to shoot the bird and feed it to our party.
So I need a plan B.
What’s a good organic-free class for a cute robot gal?
I’m thinking of one of those electric warriors that they have these days.
Some martial artists hit trees to build the resilience of their limbs. Mechagnomes cut out the middle man by skipping straight to metal ones. It’s only logical.
I think the best class for a mechagnome is a rogue so you can open lock boxes, and don’t have to worry about putting poisons on your weapons because they will not hurt you when they get on your clamps unlike other lesser races that have to clean their hands if they mess up with poisons.
I liked the idea of a mechagnome warrior (especially since my warrior was already a gnome), but honestly the screaming sounds they make are pretty irritating. I know gnomes are supposed to be quirky but it is a bit over the top, I ended up just race changing back.
I have a mechagnome monk though and that is fun. Something very satisfying about punching and kicking with reinforced steel limbs lol
Get that Survival Hunter going, you got lamp oil, rope, and bombs, a nice solo pet that you built yourself, and some nice options for Transmogging that weapon this raid tier/season
come back in 2 years when we have the Artificer/Tinker for Last Titan
all the ducks will be in a row by then and Hunter will be able to fully embrace the Man & Beast fantasy and all the mechanical stuff can be reserved for the true machine class
Mage was my first choice, and currently one of my favorites for Mechagnome. I am admittedly somewhat biased as Mage has been one of my favorite classes in general. There is also the access to robes, skirting around the whole thing they’ve got going below the waist if you don’t have the heritage armor yet.
