oh god. i’m gonna get people arguing about high-elves in here, please don’t do this folks, i just wanna know what class i should re-roll to when we get helf void-elves, so i can have the proper blue-eyes…
OBVIOUSLY Mage.
All the thematically available classes for void elves are there. But if you really wanna be an extremely thematic void elf I would choose shadow priest.
Any?
There really is not specific thing.
You can roll any class and it will be thematic so don’t over think it.
High elves are on the Horde btw
Edit: Not Death Knight. Canon speaking wise, if you were to play a high elf that became a DK, you’d be on the Horde because if you died fighting for Silvermoon, you wouldn’t turn your back on it. Doesn’t make sense story wise.
i’m talking high elf-void elves… you know, the not purple/blue boys and gals?
the: ‘i’m gonna roleplay this as a high-elf because they’re on the alliance, silver covenant’ elves?
Aendarion, dude, you’re still a void elf even if you look pale skinned and blue eyed.
Even in terms of your RP, I answered you in the previous post.
Story wise the only class you wouldn’t play as a high elf, is a death knight.
Whatever you want to.
They all work just fine.
by that extent, blood elves with blue eyes will still be blood elves, and not high-elves. that’s beside the point though, i deliberately said i did’nt want to argue about this, and yet, here i am…
Blood elves are high elves, its literally just a title.
Keep in mind, Koltiras died as a high elf, and changed his title to blood elf after coming back as a Death knight.
The whole blood elf title is meant to honor those fighting Arthas. It basically means “In the name of the high elves who died so I may live.”
In anycase, did you read my previous post? The first one I used to respond to you?
Outside of Death knight, the rest of your class choices would be thematic.
That includes Warlock.
well what did you expect to happen?
You made a thread in which you said void elves can be high elves instead and then asked a question that no one but you can answer
I answered.
Anytihng but Death knight.
Mainly since the high elves were never present for Arthas to raise since from WC3 on, they didn’t return home and were not in a position for him to raise them.
They also would not be a 3rd gen DK, because those DKs were a part of the Argent Dawn, of which blood elves were a part of, so no high elf would have been there.
Mage is the most fitting imo. The high elves were all about that arcane magic
Priest could maybe fit but mage is best
actually… your starting to make me think that only deathknight would work… since, most high-elves were killed off by arthas during the third war, and raised into undeath… hmm…
yeah but what I meant was the thread is unanswerable because no one can narrow it down to the one he will want to play over the others. Thats personal preference.
Well everyone knows that Thalassian elves cannot properly hold a sword so warrior is off the table. They would also be to weak to be a proper, true monk as well so that is also off the table. Being a weakling lower class mage is on the table for them but night elven and nightborne mages are far superior. I guess they could technically be death knights on the basis that they could wield swords using the power of death but I bet they’d still be pretty weak. However, you could be a priest since priests are already known for being weak, a fair choice for a weak elf.
Basically the answer is don’t.
Night elf and nightborne gang is far superior to you weakling thalassians.
it’s not really about what i’d play, i’m more looking for high-elf thematic classes here. i mean, i’ll play any class, i just wanna know what would look best on’em.
Honestly, why do you start off this way?
The high elves that Arthas killed were in Silvermoon, and defending the city.
The high elves that exist currently, are those who did not return to Silvermoon, and were never in a position for Arthas to raise.
So in terms of timeline, it wouldn’t make much sense.
As for the narrative, no high elf would die in the name of Silvermoon, and then immediately turn to become its enemy and harm those who they died in the name of protecting.
As I said previously, Koltiras died a high elf, and immediately joined his people as a blood elf. So your RP would not make sense background wise.
Hence, my answer of “Anything but DK.”
Simply because timeline wise, you weren’t there for Arthas to raise, and in terms of background, it wouldn’t make any sense for you to die for Silvermoon, and then become its enemy to attack its people.
in the hopes they’d keep reading and move-along to the other high-elf threads… unfortunately, that did’nt happen…
Are Void Elves even getting non-purple, non-wavey, non-tentacle-y hair options?
Well, you’re gonna turn full purple every now and then, so I guess no.
