What class for a goblin?

Undermine is making me want a goblin. I’d love a goblint inker but tinkers aren’t a class (yet) so what class should I do?

Rogue or hunter suit well. Although all the hunter hero specs screw up the goblin vibe since you have to pretend to be either an elf, an elf, or a Rexxar.

I love shaman for goblins. Specifically resto. It’s the island vibe I always got off them. Female goblin casting animation is cute. Plus what’s cooler than making deals with the elementals for profit?

Engineer / shaman and you basically got it all!

Just need a more fitting ghost wolf form for them.

Honestly, Goblin is one of the few races whose all classes are a great fit, IMO.

Choose whichever one you like to play the most!

wish one of the hero specs was like about bombing/explosives. Could’ve been a survival/MM one.

Gobbos fit well with all classes, and often many utilize some cheesy concept to make them work.

I.E: Goblin Warlock are as trust worthy as sleezy used car salesman or corrupt defense attorneys. Or Goblin priest are your stereotypical Televangelists.

Holographic Mechanical Wolf Form as a Glyph please.

Unoriginally, I refer to my Gobbo Shaman Specs as RUSToration and WELDemental. Enhance really doen’t interest me at the moment to don;t use nor thought of a cheesy wordplay for it lol.

Plus Goblins are easy to find good mogs for.

Shaman. There’s something about it that feels so sacrilegious and yet so right. If only we could have skins for Earth and Fire elementals. Sand Elementals for Earth would rock. So too would ‘goblin improved’ ones, and “Kelp stained” elementals for Kul’Tirans.

I’m biased, but I think Hunter is a great pick. Guns, bombs, traps. Different mechanical pets. The new Hyena and Crab/bomb pets.

You really can’t go with any of them

Yeah but hunter hero specs screw up basically everyone’s vibe unless you’re an elf.

If you like tinker, survival hunter about as close as you’ll get. Bombs, Traps. Grapple Hook. Good second choice is a Rogue.

Warrior maybe, pick up engineering for some tinker-esk flare.

I always thought of the Rogue being the best fit because of the thief/pickpocket gold crazed kind of mentality that Goblin has is the best thematically.

I’d say go shaman, but since they ruined Primordial Wave – Elemental spec F’ing sucks now.

Rogue would be a really decent fit though.

Alchemist + Herbalism or perhaps Mining + Engineering would be a decent fit for their professions to stack on top too

Goblins in WoW are like the Ferengi from Star Trek. Short, big ears, annoying, sneaky/cunnin and extremely greedy. So Rogue?

Goblins are all about two things: “Engineering + Alchemy” and “Money”.

And because there’s no “Engineering + Alchemy” themed Class or Spec or Hero Talent, but there’s a “Money” themed spec and Hero Talent, my money is on Rogue.

Get Outlaw Spec and Fatebound Hero Spec.

Rogues have Pick Pocket, which steals people’s stuff and money.

Outlaw has Roll the Bones, which is gambling-themed.

Fatebound is all about flipping a coin, which is also gambling and also coins are money.

Seconding outlaw rogue. It’s hard to out-goblin the pirate class.

Warlock! You get fire, you personally henchmen, and you unlocked immortality with soul stones so any explosion is not a true death!

Yeah I don’t know what they were thinking with these hero specs. It’s like they heard the feedback that some people wanted playable Dark Rangers and were like “Well that settles it, all hunters want to be Sylvanas.” Like brother please I’m a mechagnome…

I have a goblin warrior and I love it. There’s just something funny about a small goblin running up ahead to protect all the big, fragile orcs, tauren, and undead. My weapon is mogged to a wrench and the shield is mogged to a shield from Mauradon that is a spinning gear.

I thought it was bad on my mage. Sunfury is the most blood-elf themed thing imaginable. But at least I can spell-sling. Thankfully spellslinger is pretty good now.

But poor marksman hunters, it’s like “Very good, Champion. What flavor of elf will you be today.”.

The fun thing about goblins is that, theme wise, they are extremely open ended with some common traits you can utilize. Guuah doesn’t care about money too much, but he does love explosions.

Closest I think you’re getting to a proper tinker is currently Hunter. While it isn’t perfect you can play with a number of the abilities to be tinker-friendly. I pretend a mechanical hatchling Guuah has around with him is the thing firing the big ol’ Lunar Storm, for example. With the owl missing I can do that a bit more convincingly.

Really, though, you can’t go too wrong with any of the classes you enjoy, and Rocket Boots is always useful regardless of class.

YEAHHH. I wasn’t the biggest fan. Still not but at least Sentinel gives a lot more leeway than Dark Ranger.
