I was going to make my first Zandalari Troll a druid, but after thinking about what I know of them so far, that doesn’t sit quite right. Their connection with the Loa seem to make them something I’ve never seen before. What class do you guys think thematically fits them the most.

They honestly have lore justification to be able to play any class, including demon hunters and warlocks. They are the most ancient race in Azeroth. Personally I like them as Prelates, but warriors, shamans, and priests all seem like good fits too.

Druids are a go-to. You go through the entire Horde questline in Zuldazar helping out many Loa, who I guess are inherently druids?
Paladin is good; they already have a sort of connection to light, or a Loa in the form of light. I don’t exactly remember.
I mean, all of the classes you can pick from can actually be seen out in questing, I’m pretty sure. They’re good as everything, and look good in all sorts of armor. Try out the classes you think would be fun looking!

Zandalari Druids are freakin’ epic looking.

Probably Druid
Outlaw Rogue would fit the pirate/sailor theme since the Zandalari are a naval people.
Assassination Rogue works good with a disciple of Shadra, The Venom Queen. Although Shadra was consumed by Yazma and is now dead. It seems most of her followers seem to be anti horde by the looks of “The Widows Bite” in the new book, but you could make it work.
Warrior/Hunter works for anyone
Made a paladin, and one of the greatest things about it is that you can tailor your paladin to whichever loa suits your fancy! I went with Bwonsamdi because the death paladin thing is a cool twist combining the spooky and the pious.
Plus Bwonsamdi IS the loa of kings currently.

The Zandalari are probably THE most fleshed out culture in WoW right now with good reasoning/lore for all the classes available to them.

Sadly none of the classes properly display Troll culture.
A Priest and Shaman would be amazing for Zandalari if it was more loa themed.
Troll paladins dont fit.
