What class fantasy do you play?

What class fantasy suits you the most?

Is it the sword wielding knight or a fireball slinging mage? Or perhaps it is the arrow drawing ranger who never misses a bullseye. Comment below!

It’s the master of Death, the blood beheamoth that siphons life essence from her enemies to sustain herself, the ability to raise legions of fallen enemies to fight for her and raise a fallen ally to give them another chance, the power to summon the cold winds from beyond the grave to shred apart her enemies to the bone.

I’m a cat. I do cat things. I can be well-behaved when I’m in the mood. Feed me the good stuff or I’ll go through your trash looking for it and knock stuff on the floor.

I thought it’d be the stalker of shadows, ambushing prey and stealing from pockets. I thought I could go combat, and when they think they have a sneaky rogue, have a sneaky rogue with maces to smash peoples brains in.

But it turns out I suck at that so I’m better at arcane mages. Staying as far away from a fight as I can while doing things. Maybe sheeping a guy or two, and making everyone in my vicinity smarter for an hour.

As simple as it can be put a doer of good, not a harbinger of justice or paragon of the light.

I’ve always adored the simplest ones, a dwarven fighter, a human mage, a night elf huntress. Also to help express what I mean by the classics, a picture I believe done by Alex Horley which is one of my favorites of his work.

My parents are evil villains, I just live here.

How can a dwarf be a fighter though? Isn’t he a smith?

You come get de voodoo.

I am why you fear the dark. The errant creak of the floorboards. The sudden shifting of darkness.
I bet you regret skipping out on your bar tab at the Goldshire Inn.
I get paid good gold to “manage” problems like you. Bad for business otherwise.

I am the anti-hero.
I care for myself only.
More power is always a good thing.
If the world is healed or burned is not of my concern.
More souls to fuel my plans.

Just wait and see…

I really don’t know. Originally I wanted to be a blood elf Warrior but they weren’t in the game at the time, but the character selection screen had a blood elf with a two handed sword so I went with it.

Originally I hated the idea of Paladin because I was too young at the time to even know what the class fantasy was, and I hated the idea of healing and supporting other players.

I went with it and struggled for an entire year grinding away (with a girlfriend at the time) basically auto attacking and refreshing seals. We both played ret - it was a disaster though we rarely if ever needed help questing. So slow though - it actually did take a year for real to cap.

Eventually capped and matured - learned to enjoy healing later on. Eventually blood elf warriors were put into the game, played one for a bit but then realized I missed healing and supporting other players.

Guess it’s a personality thing.
