What class, in a single hit, creates the biggest number? I want to say arcane mage with touch of the magi, but I don’t really know as there’s a lot of specs I haven’t played.

With 20+ stacks of Sweeping Strikes and Warbreaker, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen my cleave hit for nearly 15 mil+ on a crit.
Can’t use Avatar with that however. Have to burn that to even get there.

Arms warrior can spam 2.5mil mortal strikes and hit higher executes than that
as far as a single hit
probably arcane mage with a fully worked up rotation with TOTM, once you get your prep you can hit some insanely high arcane barrages or what not
if youre talking in one single button press instantly
maybe marks hunter, you have insane burst with rapid fire into aimed shot
Rogue isn’t even in the running? In EQ they had a thing called backstab.
Arcane mage has an insane amount of barrage modifiers. If I tried to stack them all on cleave dummies I think a 20 mil barrage could probably be achieved
If you count Touch of the Magi then that’s going to win.
The highest I got is a L&L Aimed Shot, all cooldowns pumping, the Aimed Shot hit for 9 mil and the Explosive Shot hit for 12 mill for over 20 mil damage.
It may be higher now, but that’s the only time I hit that hard and I was paying attention.
I know TECHNICALLY that’s two hits but it’s one button press. I’m counting it.
Like hardest single hitting hit? Probably glacial spike.
So before the nerfs and balances, one day we got raid to put down training dummies, turnips and anything attackable. All was to be fed to the blood beast.
Fairly sure it burst for about 80M (with a lot of feeding and build up). Technically came from one ability

I agree with Mage being an option, but when I still played Warlock, I remember popping off a Chaos Bolt that dang near one shot most things.
Assassination rogues when they get a proc of “Sudden Demise.” My record is a 20,390,349. I proc’d it on I.P.A. in Cinderbrew 11.

That thing crits for 12M @ ilvl 619 on my SPriest for some reason, sometimes.
Hard to tell, though I would give a vote to Flameshaper Dev Evoker because my friend’s burst is insane, his ILV is lower than mine but he almost always pulls ahead of me in dungeons. Since they have a reverse execute, their opening burst puts them significantly ahead of everyone else in a lot of packs.
I’ve hit up to 20mil with Engulf as flameshaper dev evoker.
It used to be Chaos Bolts I think from warlocks, idk now.
