Humans - paladins. Male Human Paladin isn’t a meme for nothing.
Dwarf - hunter. Although if they’d be more like Hemet Nesingwary and much less like Brann Bronzebeard that’d be nice.
Night elf - Druid. One of those races that seems like playing anything but would be weird (except for female priests) which is why I like playing nontraditional nelves so much.
Gnome - mage. Not even focused on magic itself though, as everyone knows that all they ever do is tinker and literally nothing else, right?
Draenei - paladin. As much as having these glorious, muscular bodies hidden behind sheets of metal pains me, draenei fit the vindicator role the most.
Worgen - hunter. Mostly because a lot of people that play worgen are more in to the werewolf aspect of it than the Gilnean part.
Void elf - (shadow!!!) priest. This one I feel can be open the most to interpretation though, as warlock would suit them fine as well.
LFD - Paladin. Light light light light light. They can keep the zealotry as far as I’m concerned, I’ve got enough light in me that I can just resort to arcane blasting all my problems away.
DID - Warrior. Thankfully these guys also have a lot of leniency as to what their standard class would be, I feel like.
Kul Tiran - warrior. Me big strong human. Me smash.
Pandaren - monk. As much as I cannot stand the whole kung fu panda thing being their primary motif and having it played for laughs no less. Gimme geomancer pandaren again and it’ll be fine.
Orc - warrior. Me orc warrior. Me smash. Waaaagh.
Undead - rogue. Because they’re EEEEEEEVIL!
Tauren - hunter. Bows and beasts and nature and stuff.
Troll - hunter? One of the things I absolutely love about the Darkspear is that it can make sense for them to be absolutely anything, and they don’t really have any strong stigma towards being any particular thing. My favorite horde race by far.
Blood elf - mage. Obviously. Who else is going to cast the spells for all the STOOOOOPID horde races? It’s not like my max level horde char is an orc mage or anything. Noooope.
Goblin - priest. Because they like making money. Seriously though, they could be literally anything as well.
Nightborne - Mage. If velves are blueberry belves, then nightborne are eggplant belves.
Highmountain - warrior. I don’t think the stigma to be like Huln is that strong, though. Hunter would make sense too.
Mag’har - warrior. Me draenor orc. Me draenor smash. Waaaarkanon poros.
Zandalari - paladin. Like the darkspear I feel that they could be pretty much anything, but with their more concrete connection to the loa, I feel that paladins suit them more.
All of these are just what I feel they’re supposed to fit the most. I find playing a more off-class character in relation to their race far more interesting, though.
