So excited for the new patch. I’ve started the leveling of lower level alts already. What are your goals for Tuesday? What class or race are you hoping to focus on first? What ways are you preparing? Cool Roleplay Character Concepts? We want to hear them!
Probably this toon. i love the Blood Elf lore and stories so naturally i was exited when i heard about the heritage armor. then my dwarf monk
I still have my Lightforge Paladin sitting at 40 I could keep going at. Yet I think I will focus on the Alliance campaign missions for the itty bitty 7th Legion rep increase. I’m already sitting at Revered from mission board turn ins and what I did Horde side. Since faction changing the quest line has started over from the beginning so hopefully I’ll have Dark Iron in no time and then I can start leveling that alt.
Level everyone to 120 and then start finishing content on my Orc Shaman and Lightforged Paladin and then see what happens. I’m probably gonna try to keep spamming Warfronts for Transmog items and mounts/pets, but ultimately I’ve firmly moved into maintenance mode with WoW for the next few months with work becoming an even greater nightmare with government meddling meaning a great many of the hire companies have doubled their workforce in an attempt to allow certain people to crow about getting people ‘jobs for christmas’ which has unfortunately forced a lot of other people into untenable positions and wages below what is required to maintain their mortgages, let alone put food on the table and pay for the necessities of life.
Between trying to find a new, more stable job at the lithium mines that are opening up in the area, dealing with a very heavily politicised push by the family courts for the support group to surrender our not-for-profit stance and work hand-in-hand with them that we’re very much fighting due to the attitudes of certain folks who’d be overseeing us if we did agree and the ever-present situation with a family member with mental illness refusing to take their medication and constantly flip-flopping between a paranoid wreck that can’t leave the couch and a raging ball of hate and absurd excuses for said hate eating up what little free time and will to live I have left, I’m not nearly able to put in nearly enough time in WoW to bother getting into a raiding guild or even a casual one these days.
Now that leveling won’t be torture I’ll probably work on getting some Heritage Armor sets. Dark Iron first, then I dunno, Mag’har probably. I don’t have a BElf at cap, so I’m not worried about getting that armor, but I might make one of my Alliance alts a regular Dwarf to get that set.
You know I was always curious if I could just level my Demon Hunter to 120 if that would count to get the Heritage armor, but I somewhat doubt it. Can you imagine though? “What…he is a Blood Elf. I might finish my Dark Iron Shaman and my Night Elf Rogue - those are the last two classes I have to get to 110+, then I’ll (finally) have every class near max level.
Other than that, nothing. I’m going to be Race Changing to a Kul Tiran, and when they come out I’ll probably also level a KT Monk for the Heritage Armor.
I just hit 51 on my Horde mage this morning and, if I were a patient person, I’d wait until Tuesday because the next few dozen levels are gonna suck but I’ll probably push through at least Outland & Northrend over the weekend.
Ironically they’re making it easier to level alts at the worst possible time for me-- I’ve been wasting so much time the past few months levelling then deleting new characters that I’ve made little headway in any significant content, including unlocking allied races. I’m planning on buckling down & committing to one character for a while. I’m hoping the promise of allied races & blood elf heritage armour will be enough to see me through.

Oh, are they nerfing leveling? Sweet. i’m working on most of my allied races; I’ve only got my nightborne at 120 and my void elf at 110. Everybody else is under 80.
I’m gonna cheat and copy+paste from wowhead but the nerf is not insignificant:

I’ve got a couple of dwarves at 100, guess I’ll work on getting one of them to 110 or 120 (whichever it is for the armor).
My highest allied race is a void elf at 85 so I’ll work on him too.
Well, damn. Now I kinda regret staying up late to push my mag’har to 70. Seems like at this point I’d be better off taking a leveling break till Tuesday.

I didn’t realise either! Good news though! I’ll likely finish leveling my level 62 Mag’har hunter, and maybe finish leveling Verlinnea too! Otherwise, in terms of low-level alts, I’m waiting for my Kul Tiran shaman!

I plan to make Brut here into a KT, I’ll probably level one for the armor after that. I mainly just want the coat.

I rolled up four new alts a while back once I was done with most of my rep grinds. After weeks of world quests and island expeditions, low-level questing had honestly been a huge breath of fresh air. They’re all level 30, 34, 38, and 40, so they’ll have a pretty good headstart when the patch drops.
I have a warrior with fully kitted-out heirlooms waiting for the 120 grind. Night elf, of course.
Maybe I’ll make a priest, eventually, too?

Got a 61 Mag’har Hunter that might see some action now. May finish up Sol’rathi here. Otherwise? A LOT of still waiting for the bloody reason I was excited for BFA to flippin’ begin with.
I’m going to continue not playing this game outside of setting up my auctions and waiting for my friends to want to queue.
