What changes would you make to the Ashenvale event?

I would love to see blizzard buff the rep gains from boss kills in hopes that it would encourage more players to actually participate in the event instead of showing up downing a boss then afking near the turn in…

Also why do players stop earning rep after they hit a certain rank?

This entire system seems to prioritize just showing up and not actually participating in the event.

Ashenvale even offers a lot of really cool potential for an open world PVP encounter unlike anything else you can find in WoW, but the rewards are set up to incentivise you to simply not participate or care about winning the event because the difference between winning and losing is significantly less than what you get just for showing up one time that day.

Curious to see how the others in this community feel about this event and what changes you would make to encourage participation and make the event more fun for those who do try to participate in the entire process.

Make it instanced. :joy: not an original thought, but the played out response blizzard has taken in the past with stuff like WG.

How would making it instanced benefit? I’m not saying it wouldn’t I’m just new enough to not see how it would help

I see all the replies but just to add to them just in case a dev is watching (like they say they are)

Make it instanced.

It sorta makes WG function properly. I am not smart enough to explain why, it just seems to and blizzard says it does. :man_shrugging:

World events and world PvP are amusing so I hope they figure out something.

Get rid of it and give more rep for wsg instead so we can actually pvp.

  1. Level 50’s can’t enter.

  2. No quest needed for the bosses. Get the quest equivalent XP just from killing them when they are there.

  3. Bonus XP for being in a group.

Agreed. Tweak WSG to make it less of a grind / more fun. How about bonus rep for >X damage and/or healing done and shorten it to 2 caps instead of 3? Get more games in per hour and reward players trying to win

There are endless forums about hour long ques already
