Player housing I doubt we would see considering how against it the company is. But I see we are basically on the same page.
A better lore history
bring back the guild system as we had before (teleport, new guild mounts, new guid pet etc)
New pvp system, I liked the WODâs PVP
Maybe the four spec for each class, for example, gladiator for warrior
Bring back a challenger as we had before (mage tower, mop mythic)
work PVP with like each faction has to conquer a map or something similar as we had on cataclysm with tol barad.
Has this been confirmed? I havenât seen anything to suggest were getting this for raid.
I wouldnât say itâs the company.
It prints money.
Itâs the raid logging devs who donât do anything but log in and raid who think itâs a âwaste of resourcesâ because they donât play this game like an RPG.
Thereâs proof out there that this is a very demanded feature because the playerbase made it themselves. They really need to pull a Classic and just pull those people in to work on the feature at this point.
-
Ignore most of the suggestions in this thread. (Not all, just most.)
-
Give people a reason to max professions. As it stands, the only reason now is to make lego gear, a money-losing proposition if ever there was one, unless youâre playing the really long game, and have the gold for it. Especially leather working.
-
Reorganize the Inscription interface similar to the Combat Pet interface. Make it easier to see what glyphs are available for what classes, and where to get them. Then I would add new glyphs.
-
Keep Warmode, but with no bonus, and then make PvP servers with a âpeace modeâ option, that lowered exp gain from everything except quest rewards by 5%, so that when you really needed to complete a quest, you could do so.
-
Prune the Maw intro for less dialog and waiting if desired. I mean, I took my 5th char through there, and it was easy and painless enough, but I was playing on my phone during bunches of it.
-
Better communication with the players, even if itâs a no-win situation.
- Roll the myriad systems into a cross-expansion revamped talent system
- Bring back cross speccing (no reason to disallow it, even if itâs not âoptimalâ)
- De-emphasize WoW as a competitive platform and return to the gameâs roots
- Note that this doesnât mean eliminating competitive content, mostly just putting a stop to things like MDI
- Integrate an raiderio-like rating system for M+, because that being a separate third party thing is silly and inefficient
- This would involve buying raiderio since this feature would essentially be putting them out of business
- Flatten number of difficulties in PvE
- Details unclear, but one example is eliminating the redundancy of normal and heroic dungeons at cap
- Add currencies and vendors for all the things
- Eliminate all multi-layer RNG
- Bring back crafting as a viable method of gearing
- Bring back class halls, make them a cross-expansion feature
- Reuse Garrison tech to implement guild halls
- Add a dump truck load of new high resolution simple/clean âvanilla styleâ gear appearances intended for mixing and matching
- Add ilvl normalization to random battlegrounds to make them more friendly for the initial bit of PvP gear progression
Oh I agree I was here for the great debate when they used the excuse it would have costed a Raid Tier. And that is the Huge Issue now Ion is trying to keep raids going cause I think he was told get people into them or remove them Hence LFR being added.
The fact this whole expansion was based on customization and then told Yeah were done with that hurt the community over all. Plus the fact everything was so overly time gated to draw out the lack of over all content. Sadly I donât see this direction changing and if the next patch is august I really do not see the game surviving. I know the share holder group is really pissed off about the bonus the CEO received. Yes they were factored into his contract but they are pissed it was even allowed.
If the company keeps going in this direction I doubt we will see any new expansions.
Delete the maw, delete torghast, give warriors self healing and a baseline stun and a 12s charge again, nerf rogues and mages and ret paladins, remove convoke.
The Mawl would be fine without the stupid time factor added to it.
So warriors making up 15% of the top 100 3s players, isnât enough?
For fastâish things just to this expansion.
-
Give Soul ash drops to Dungeons/raids. so people that donât wanna do Torghast donât have to.
-
Add gear acquisition to Torghast. so people that enjoy Torghast could get more reward/progression out of it then just 1 item.
-
Probably have a currency system to mirror PvPâs Honor/conquest, with JP/VP instead of this solely upgrade VP system for PvE.
-
Syncâd down Chromie Time for 50-60 after Threads of fate, with a option to random queue for any previous expansionâs dungeons to help with queue times.
No, it isnt. because believe it or not 3s isnt the only part of the game. not every single warrior in wow plays to do 3s shocker right? maybe i want to be able to defend myself and have some kind of way to survive or not be baby sat, screw me right?
Fix arenas. Move anyone who received 2400+ to a separate ladder where they only queue against themselves even on alts.
Warrior is extremely powerful right now, you are asking for one of the best specs in pvp in the game to be broken, not balanced. They are over-represented in 2/3s on the ladder and have just fine representation in RBGs.
Im asking for a heal, believe it or not I LIKE SURVIVING. 3s isnt the only thing in game believe it or not. i do not push arenas so i should be punished because of it? i want to be able to live without being baby sat by a healer that is not a crazy thing to ask for.
I donât know what to tell you other than play a different class, Warriors are not know known for their âhealingâ capabilities.
I feel like I was already in a thread like this before so Iâll just keep it simple.
- Bearded ladies
That is allâŚhic!
Yeah and? because we arent known for it does not mean we cant ask to have 1 small way to heal, youre out your mind

Bring back old talent trees - More interesting, more diversity compared to what we have today. People used to say they where cookie-cutters, well the system we have today is even more cookie-cuttingâŚ
-
Make old content matter - With a new expansion, itâs nice that Blizzard adds new zones but they could also put more content into the old zones so they wouldnât feel empty.
-
Change the leveling system so the story makes sense - With the phasing system that we use today, i think Blizzard should change the level system so when you create a new char, for example a Human Warrior, you start in Vanilla Elwynn Forest. In the starter zone you kill of bandits etc. As your journey continues youâll get phased into the new expansions ( you can still use chromie system to go back in expansions ). Storywise, they could make it so once you phase into cataclysm, you actually have to go back to Elwynn Forest to kill off that orch invasion of the starting area.
-
Adjust zone scaling - I think the new Zone scaling is a semi-good addon to the game, however i think it needs to be adjusted somewhat. Instead of adjusting every mob to your level, they should indeed get stronger, but not as strong as they are today so the player can feel some kind of progression / getting stronger while leveling up.
-
Fix professions - Make all professions useful. For example, blacksmithing should be able to make even higher ilvl gear compared to today. Instead, the mats could be found inside raids, dungeons or outside in the open world. Make old mats useful. Why cant Shadowlands blacksmithing receipts include some copper for example? ( To encourage high lvl players to visit old zones ) . This also includes new professions connected to systems like player housing below for example. Add new professions to the game to support the next suggestion.
-
Player Housing - Gives people more things to do. Connect it with new professions that forces players out in the open world / instances to collect mats. Make it a system that lets the player decide on how their house should be ( the total opposite of garrisons ). I donât know if itâs possible from a tech point of view but i would like to see a system that adds levels to villages / cities. With every new level, a new building is added ( this adds new places for players to buy new houses) Of course there should be a limit on how large a settlement can grow so we donât turn Goldshire into the size of Stormwind.
How to increase the settlement size is still something i still havenât decided on. Perhaps it could be linked to a player count of the previous building linked with quest ( like the ahnâqiraj opening perhaps?
New professions could be something linked to the player housing itself, like crafting for stuff you could put inside your home ( Carpentry for example linked with a lumber gathering skill? )
-
Give players a reason to go out in the open world instead of sitting inside cities using LFR / LFG - Perhaps add some kind of bonus system if you actually fly to the dungeon instead of just using the LFG tool.
-
True PvP servers - Make the world conquerable. Players can attack and capture zones, this will open up new quests etc. Every zone has it points and once youâll reach a certain score, the map resets. (The reset score should be high enough to make sure that one campaign should last a couple of months or so ) You could even add a system to this thatâs including the PvE-community as well because someone needs to fuel the war machine, right? (With crafted gear etc )

Hire people whoâs primary task is balancing the classes - Self explained⌠Fix the classes alreadyâŚ
-
Hire people whoâs primary task is to find exploits - I guess you all seen videos from people like Rextroy. If he can find all those exploits, Blizzard should be able to also⌠Before patch releaseâŚ
-
Make the classes more unique again. Every class shouldnât be able to do everything. ( Like warrior healing for example ). I think the class design philosophy from classic is better compared with what we have today.
