What can go through Shadowy Duel?

I’d say every kind of aoe, psychic scream / dragon breath, spirit link totem root totem etc…

So if a Rogue duels a teammate, I can theoretically leap to their dot on the minimap and slam Chaos Nova and it’d stun the Rogue?

Yes. Every kind of AOE goes through duel. Think of it like we are just both in stealth. If u can hit a rogue in stealth with X ability, then you can hit them in duel. Same goes with your team mate.

So if ur trying to keep ur team mate alive you could use some kind of aoe heal/defensice like spirit link, or if u want to peel the rogue you could use some kind of aoe cc like dragons breath

I believe most AOE spells can.

I believe this is as right as it gets. Radiance from dpri, dome, etc or you can pre-supp the duel and duel is wasted but you gotta track it. :\

Very few shamans know link actually works and saves dueled target.

This is why I mock the forums constantly for being trash, b/c I’ve been saving people with aoe for 2 seasons on 2 characters and I’m questionable duelist.

People are dumb. Glad this thread popped up, the more conversations that are had about how to counter instead of just whining for nerfs the less jank spite balance we get, which brings us closer to having a game that people may want to play.
