We went from shadowlands grind forever to small bits of feature content giving out cheat items spread across the patch.
If we assume we have to have these systems what of the two do you prefer?

SL was the worst thing that ever happened to wow (the asinine war on flying is a close second). I’d rather have just about anything other than the SL model.
I’m enjoying wow more now than I have in years.
I don’t care about power, I only care about bikinis.
The new method is pretty bad to be honest. Pushing a mini-grind for a gimmick item each season and extending it through timegates is just borrowed power lite. We get all of the grind with half of the flavor.
I would prefer no grinds. But the current ones aren’t bad.
The isle ring was just an extremely easy weekly quest that took 20 mins. Not a big deal IMO. Hopefully the Delve belt is also painless because I really dont have any desire to go into delves at this point in the season, sleepwalking content.
Idk if you’re counting visions as a grind. I think visions are some of the worst content this game has ever had. But fortunately I just had to do a few to unlock the quests, get my enchant and leave them til the next enchant gets unlocked.
tl;dr the only one that I think is really bad are visions and they’re mostly optional.
I’d rather the gimmick tbh
They usually take no effort so your alts can do then easily as well
Vs grind for 30 hours a week to make your alts even playable
After just going through Sl again to farm mogs, achievements, and mounts. I would rather have what we have now, vs what we had then.
Shadow Lands was developed in a circular room where the developers thought up the worst ideas possible and then congratulated each other for those ideas.
