So, I’ve been pretty harsh in my criticism of TWW, but there are things I love too.

The Arathi Empire is definitely super interesting. I love how they expanded on them in a way that feels exciting and mysterious. Actually, I appreciate how these last few expansions Blizzard has been building on the other side of the world through tidbits of new lore and revelations. I hope the Arathi Empire is huge and sprawling and the emperor is as epic as Emperor of Mankind (Warhammer 40k). Lots of potential there.

The darkness and necromancy. It seems there is much more to the mysteries of the darkness in lore than the Maw, The Void, Undeath as we’ve been familiar with such as Kel’thuzad, Arthas, Scourge etc. The Kobis, The Fogbeasts, The Cult of Night etc. It seems the darkness itself is much more than mere void magic or necromancy from the realms of death and void. Idk, adds some interesting aspects to whatever is going on.

The Titan rabbit hole. It feels like the titans have many more secrets than we could ever fathom with certain revelations in TWW. The earthen, the chambers of heart spread across the globe, the protocols in place in case things don’t go according to plan. Just when you think we have the titans all figured out since WOTLK, they just have some other thing they were working on in some undiscovered area. Makes you wonder why Odyn is paranoid about the other side of the planet and forbids anyone travel there. Hmmmm…
What about you guys, anything in particular you loved from TWW?
