The one you really enjoy crawling through with friends and/or pugs? And please give some details, don’t be a stranger.
One of my favorites is probably Zul Farrak, kind of neat to find secret and hidden quests for that zone and the fun event. I’ve only recently discovered some quests for it that I never knew were there by accidentally talking to some npc in the troll village near Orc starting area.
BRD is probably the most fun one, because there are just so many different ways to go and than there is a bar scene in the middle that can be dealt with in several different ways depending on if you have a rogue in your group or not. So many interesting and clever ways to get around that makes this zone pretty neat. Not linear like future expansions at all.

Yeah I recently learned that a rogue can pickpocket the bartender for the key to open the door, that was like one of those epic discoveries that was just neat. We always used to just fight our way instead.
Love that dungeon, there are so many tricks in there.

Though relatively straight-forward, I think that Deadmines is incredibly well designed especially as a starter dungeon.
I also enjoy anything Scarlet themed, and the something-for-everybody loot tables of the collective “suite” of Scarlet Monastery dungeons is satisfying.
Maraudon (waterfall) is gorgeous.
Favorites at or just before 60 include Stratholme Undead for the dark history and on-your-toes moments, and all of the Dire Maul dungeons because of how…different!..they are: location, theme (mysterious elven ruins), and ogres everywhere (I like killing ogres, they’re funny).

Just like with Blackrock Spire, you’re not actually supposed to do the whole thing at once.
It’s a city. You enter the city, and work towards a specific goal (MC attunement, save princess, visit the Grim Guzzler, whatever).
I HAVE cleared the whole thing, but this was never the intent.

I really like Uldamon, kinda sucks no one ever seemed to want to run it for some reason.

Cool thread. I love hearing what people like about the different dungeons. In vanilla I wasn’t into dungeons and the only one I did was I think Wailing Caverns. (they say the memory goes first lol), so there’s a lot I missed out on the first time around. I don’t care about raiding but I do plan on doing some dungeons this time around.

Thought about this again and the ones that stand out to me were RFD, ZF, MARA, and UBRS
Funny story. I’ll get screen shots. But pre-nerf LBRS, but our level 51 warrior aggroed the mobs from beneath the cliff, aggro’ing all the mobs in the hprocess.
I like elements of all the classic dungeons, with the exception of Gnomer, which I despise. My favorite for now is Zul’farrak, though I haven’t had a chance to run some of the end-game dungeons yet in Classic.
