What are your honest feelings or expectations this coming April 19th since they are announcing a new expansion?
(Don’t give me short uninformative comments and do give me a detailed constructive comment)
After the recent cinematic, my expectation is very low; due to too many veteran developers leaving.
I only hope the next expansion is functional.

I’m not sure. Part of me thinks there won’t be another one with how the community treats BfA and SL but who knows? I hope there will be.

Expectation? I expect more of the same 
I have no idea what will be in any announcement, except that it will be mostly fluff and not talk about the gameplay things most people care about.
As for the expansion itself, I expect 2 things. First, Blizzard will over-react to criticisms of Shadowlands and overextend in the opposite direction to a degree that leaves people equally unhappy. Second, I expect them to completely ignore all of the alpha and beta feedback, even when it’s nearly unanimous on things they should and should not do.

Pre-ordered every expansion since it was possible, started in Cata & this will be the first time I don’t. Game takes too much time IMO to play optimally & that’s fine; that’s a choice everyone has to weigh for themselves. Wow vs the rest of their hobbies & for me when judged in comparison with other things it’s nowhere near as rewarding. So in a longwinded way I have 0 expectations.
Edit: & personally for me it’s not just wow specifically; been struggling to get deep into any games anymore these days MMO wise; maybe I’m finally outgrowing gaming, idk.

Sorry for another uninformative reply, but I have 0 expectations.
The ball is firmly in their court and it is up to them to show us how high they wish to raise the bar in this genre.
Its “wait and see” time, but 10.0 has a pressure on it like no other expac before it, it’s sink or swim time tbh

This was me with Shadowlands. I still haven’t purchased the expansion, won’t be, and probably won’t be purchasing or pre-ordering whatever comes next until Blizzard can prove they’re willing to do better.
My issues were with story, specifically; I haven’t played content seriously at all since Cata, tbh.
As for
I expect we’re gunna get the opposite of Shadowlands (where the main feature announced was a bunch of new zones), and that Blizzard will throw as wide of a net as they can. They’ll overextend by throwing too many things at the wall at once and subsequently be unable to follow through on delivery.
My expectations are rock bottom with this company atm. All I do is RP these days, and that has to be enough for me. I’m tired of getting my hopes up for this game, only to be let down yet again.
It hurts that I can say I genuinely have no regrets about skipping Shadowlands and much of BFA.

For the dragon race not to just be humans with dragon horns and tail. Boring.
New class is my wish.
Expectations are that it’s better than shadowlands
I expect it to be all exaggerated fluff designed to incite hype with zero guaranteed specifics or substance.
I expect to be disappointed and disheartened by their lack of integrity and perception.
Most of all, I expect the game’s design to continue down the same road of destroying immersion, rp and storytelling in order to promote competitive e-sport styling, flashy ‘modern’ concepts and treadmill gameplay.

Expectations, they are low i expect more of the same with a fresh coat of paint. Time gating, currency gating, A whole bunch of announced plans where all the ones people were excited for get left of the cutting room floor and the game is basically delivered back to us as it is now. Art team will nail it, Music will be wonderful, systems will be universally hated, quest team will get the bare minimum done to get buy then go out drinking for next year and the story team who should have been fired after this xpac if not before it will keep doing whatever it is they do.
Overall i expect it to be a chore simulator that keep logging into as i enjoy the company of the other players i socialise with and the devs will continue to ignore the fanbase outright.
I am expecting more of the same, which for me is bitter sweet.
While I relish the prospect of having a definite end line that will give me time to do all the things I want to do w/o worrying about leveling and gearing, etc., I do find it depressing to see the game morph into something not fun.
New class. Either Mechanic (based on Gazlowe HotS), or Dragonborne (based on Alexstraza HotS).

My only hope really. We cannot afford another ‘flop’ expansion, I dunno.
I just want them to ease back on the systems by a lot.

After the flop called systemlands my expectations are really low the lowest they ever been since started playing the game and knowing how Blizzard is going to continue to try and kill off casuals as well as flight makes things even lower.
If it is indeed going to be Cata 2.0 seeing as how others went that should mean we get flight as soon as possible yet I don’t see that happening and will be more systems crap and more raid or die crap.

That shouldn’t be expected, that is a guarantee at this point. I will never participate in a beta again. It is a waste of time.
