What are your computer specs for BFA?

Hey there. Just figured i’d ask what pc specs you guys are running for BFA and what kind of frames you are getting. I will drop mine and what I plan on upgrading to.
Current:
I3-6300 2c/4t
Radeon Rx 560 4gb OC
8gb DDR4 3000Mhz ram
Getting over 60fps with graphics set to 7
Upgrade:
Ryzen 5 2600
rx 580 8gb
16gb DDR4 3000Mhz ram
(will definitley run max smoothly)

Stares at 6.5 year old apple hot potato book pro.
Eyes longing at unused 2700 and 1080ti. Maybe someday ddr4 ram will be cheap and board selection won’t be confusing.

They’re already bringing ddr6 into videocard memory. Sooner or later ddr5 ram will come out and ddr4 will be cheaper for you. Kind of crazy how quickly high-end components can become obsolete.

Nah, I’m being cheap right now. Will invest in dual 4k monitors come tax time though.

Id say go for 1440p rather than 4k. 4k is just a bit too expensive and not really worth it, plus your eyes wouldnt be able to tell the difference between 4k and 1440p.

At setting most everything to 7 and max view distance at 1080p, I get about 90-100 fps.

Biggest QoL improvement I’ve made recently has been upgrading from a HDD to a SSD. OMG the load times are so much better now.

Agreed. With SSD prices pretty low right now, its the best time to get a few and set them up in a raid formation. HDD’s are a thing of the past for me.

HDDs will never go away as they’re still the superior choice for mass storage.
