What are you working on in the game right now?

It’s mid-expansion and between patches. We also have looming Midnight announcements coming up this convention season and got another Player Housing preview along with how in-game professions/play are tied to it.

But it’s also mid-expac/mid-patch and it’s getting sunnier outside.

So are folks enjoying WoW, playing the Oblivion Remake, or re-acquainting themselves with grass?

As for myself, I’m leveling alts, collecting transmog appearances, and between AUGH facedesk sessions at how uncooperative Korthia dailies have been for months now, doing Spring cleaning things.

Once I feel content on the above, I may toy around with leveling professions for each expansion so I can make future housing decor. This is literally the first time I’ve been somewhat interested in in-game professions in years.

Since Norman is now mostly retired, saved for some occasional adventuring…Frostforge is my main. My being a collector, I have a TON of things to catch up on.

I’m always farming shields. My long term goal is to have every shield mog in the game.

Right now, I’m leveling his Pandaria blacksmithing and mining and still deciding on his full picture backstory.

I have to say, fully enjoying being able to ‘learn’ all gear types instead of just the ones the char I’m on uses.

best QoL Blizz added in years.

I’m working on myself.

Spiritually.

As far as actual gameplay is concerned, I’m grinding cartel rep in Undermine for the Breakneck paints; also leveling some characters, though out of the two I’m more concerned with the former.

I also occasionally take some time to do stuff in service to some fan fics I’ve been planning/working on, though I suppose that hardly counts.

I changed mains for what is hopefully the last time (ever, knocks on wood) so I’ve been spending the last two months trying to find a balance between ‘must do all the things (metaphorically and addon…ly)’ and catching up to current content (still haven’t made it to Undermine, aside from the orphan quest).

After years of playing hunters & warlocks because I like/need to solo things, I’m finally playing a mage (because the heart wants what it wants) and though content is harder, I’ve never been happier. :dracthyr_heart:

I need to buckle down this week and level a few alts (for bags and because lockboxes are starting to pile up) but otherwise I’m locked into WoW and my mage for the foreseeable future (or at least until PowerWash Simulator 2 comes out).

This week I got 8/8 t11 delves on 4 characters for mythic mogs, and hit exalted with the Darkfuse.

When player housing became a real thing coming to WoW, I started working on my professions and now that more news has came out confirming that every profession from each expansion will have a crafting recipe for various furniture, I’ve been either leveling each profession or farming gold from World Quests to supply the aforementioned professions and let me tell you I have real good progress. I have Alchemy, Enchanting, Jewelcrafting, and Tailoring fully leveled in each expansion with Blacksmithing, Engineering, and Inscription needing only TWW to be fully leveled in each expansion. Leatherworking and Skinning only have one expansion done as of writing this reply. Post leveling the professions, I plan on tackling some reputations but I’m going to delay the full sending of rep. grinding until we get an idea of which reputations to go for first.

I kinda hit burn-out between 3 Paladins, 2 Shamans, 4 Hunters, 1 Death Knight, 2 Druids, 1 Rogue, 1 Warrior, 1 Demon Hunter, 1 Monk, 1 Evoker, 3 Warlocks and 1 Mage, so right now I’m just cycling between them all to get all the transmog off of the FOMO Event in Hallowfall rather than keeping on pushing, as I’ve finished the story of the expansion on my main, and the patches, and I want to let my energy reserves build back up again before the next chapter in the Battle for the Soles of Azeroth kicks off.

I can’t even muster the energy to rotate the alts through older raids for transmog and mounts, and that used to be my jam. I might level a few more characters up, but ultimately, I think I’m in Scruffy Mode for the rest of this expansion. Cancer+Work Injuries+Human Resources+Family Issues Over Politics+Family Issues Over LGBTQI+ +Friends Getting Mangled Constantly+Support Group Duties+Forever DM Duties = the abhorrent flesh prison I find myself in being particularly abhorrent right now.

I feel behind but it’s okay. Super casual this patch/season. Will probably catch up a bit soon but I’ve been touching grass mostly (if that means working myself into some sort of lich-like entity IRL?) – though I can’t stop doing random BGs as affliction :stuck_out_tongue:

I need to do the Arathi thing, clear heroic via some sort of carry, get the m+ rating for the mount (will I skip this?) and get the season’s delve boss thing done.

But damn do I care so little atm…

Perhaps 11.7 will light the fire and I’ll get it done.

Oh, I also made a millionth pally to get some of that bonus rep in, though didn’t get far!

I was working on the Loremaster Achievements before an Oblivion Gate swallowed me up and tossed me into an alternate universe.

I’ll get back to it eventually.

Transmog farming, old rep grinds, achievements, and levelling professions in prep for housing. It really depends on what I’m in the mood for on a given day. Most of it’s fairly mindless so it keeps me occupied while I’m job hunting.

Leveling my Evoker and now collecting transmog on them. I am debating if I do TWW lore master on them or if I save the last couple of zones for other alts. Even thow I’m pretty burned out on retail WoW, I do really enjoy the TWW zones and all the zone quests.

Finally went to Undermined as well and having fun exploring the zone. I know not having flying is a bummer and I’m so-so about the car but being forced to ground travel forces you to really take in the zone and I’m enjoying myself playing at my grandpa pace

I need to catch up on current stuff. I think I’m going to follow Vanndrel’s lead and start working on Loremaster. I checked on my progress. It funny the ones I have and that I don’t have. I don’t have Kalimdor - but I do have Pandaria.

I should be working on Loremaster and whatever other achievements I don’t have, just in case it means more housing decos.

But I’m lazy. And RP is more interesting.

Holy crap, yes. You’d think making transmog collecting faster and more quickly rewarding would lessen gameplay but it’s just made me farm more. My characters have never looked better in all the new transmog I’ve collected and if anything, shortening the grind-reward cycle makes me play more because I can finish a set in a week versus painfully taking months and losing motivation.

Except Korthia dailies. Korthia recolors have been a total pain in my butt since January.

tbh on a roleplay server, I think that at least is partial gameplay credit.

This made me laugh because I recently downloaded the PowerWash Simulator Demo, fiddled around with it, and within five minutes went: “Huh, so that’s why people love this game.”

Downside is it’s still $24 in spite its age and I think that’s silly for a game that old, so waiting for it to come on sale out of stubborn principle.

Grats! Which mogs did you collect?

I have a few guidies doing this too. It’s also made me want to look at professions again. I do so much transmog hunting that I’m constantly in older world content collecting old mats, so now I’m warbanking instead of vendoring them and figuring out which professions I want to pick up in prep for housing.

This hit hard and now I feel like I have to go outside and touch grass to process it before it inflicts lasting emotional damage. :dracthyr_cry_animated:

Leveling my lock to cap now and I haven’t decided between specs. Destro was my OG and I’ll always have a soft spot for it, but Affliction was fun and so rewarding when you hit a rhythm, the DoTs go brrrrrrrrr, a movement phase hits, and all raid DPS but yours crumbles. It’s a reminder why the spec exists and earns its place.

And with Demonology, I’ve never tried it yet so many warlock players I know crow about how ridiculously fun it is. There’s always a lowkey race on who can summon the most wild imps in one pull. So though the concept doesn’t appeal to me much, the sheer universal hype I’ve heard around it may nudge me to trying it this time around.

lol recently I asked: “Huh, where is everyone?” Clearly I forgot about Oblivion. It’s not quite the levels of Baldur’s Gate WoW abandonment but it’s definitely been felt.

Best of luck. This summer is going to be hell. Thank goodness for hobbies to keep us sane.

So many were stoked for D.R.I.V.E. that I was a little surprised that I didn’t end up liking it. I’ll still use it as a way to get around but I don’t aimlessly joyride around in the car I did skyriding in DF. Sometimes I’d just fly around the whole Isles just to see if I could without setting a foot on the ground. D.R.I.V.E. just didn’t end up having that same flying-on-Falcor via Neverending Story appeal to me as skyriding did.

Pure silly on my part but I could see that. Blizzard really upped their in-game storytelling in MoP and the Lore of Pandaria was incredible. My old server had a large subscription die off before MoP because of Kung Fu Panda associations and other biases that floated around in the player Zeitgeist back then. They missed a good time.

Also last night, I was leveling an alt with a guidie through DF content (they just returned to the game after their Shadowlands burnout so helping them wade into all the changes) and they were introduced to Fyrakk in the best way possible: Matt Mercer gleefully crooning at the top of his lungs like a happy little psychopath, setting our toons and the landscape on fire the whole way.

It was so unexpected that I was laughing my butt off. I’d forgotten he pathed there and accidentally put us smack in the middle of the fray. My guildie apparently nearly shot out of their seat because to them, everything went from chill to a 1000x Matt Mercer having the time of his life as a Saturday morning cartoon-esque villain blasting into their headphones like the Kool-Aid Man.

It was great. That’s one of the ones you remember and reminds me why I play this game.

Oh dang it, I forgot about pet collection. I need Secretive Frogduck. So much. And am nowhere near 1400.

I am just missing gloves and I can complete the mythic DK mog for this season. I have totally wasted catalyst charges on converting non set bonus pieces. BUT I DON’T CARE!

Power is temporary, mogs are eternal!

Outside of RP stuffs, AotC. Only need Gally, and now that I charged up my Ilvl (and assuming others have done the same) I should be able to achieve this.

It will 99% involve pugging, and it’s not exactly a great time. It’ll get there.

My raid team has been struggling to keep the roster together as we’ve pushed into mythic LoU. We’ve downed the first two bosses and I’m thinking that’s probably as far as we’ll get, which I am A-ok with. I’ve also hit 2600 in M+ and have thought to push up to 3k, but healing is fun and stressful both. Very conflicting. We’ll see. I kinda like the red spider mount better, honestly. But the black one has prestige. But I also have rare mounts I’d rather use anyways. Don’t you think we have too many mounts? It’s all getting pretty tedious.

Aside from that, I’m doing the Arathi thing kind of half heartedly. I’m keeping up with the Gallagio royalty rewards for now. But I don’t know what the point of doing the other cartel rep grinds is if I can’t keep riding my car outside of Undermine. I got the Blackwater blue and that’s probably what I will stick with.
