What are you waiting for to buff tanks?

I still don’t know why I don’t see many tanks complaining about this situation. If the tank does not have a CD available, it cannot sustain itself against 2 mobs in an M+. I see tanks taking one-shots, others not being able to sustain themselves for long without requiring me to spend my healing CDs. This situation is horrible, go back to how tanks were in Dragonflight, it was much better. Several CDs that I could save to use in DPS I am having to use to support tanks.

This means they and/or the group are not playing properly. There are +12 keys that require 600k HPS overall and +8 keys that require 800k. Tell me that’s because of the tuning.

Well, probably because tanks are bored of healers’ repeative circle of whining.
Slands: tanks were downbad in s1, healers whined tanks getting oneshot. Blizzard buffed tanks to immortality, then healer whined they were forced to dps because they had nothing to heal.
DF: blizzard listened to healers and made fights healing intensive, created more dangerous tank bursters; healers whined again they didn’t want to heal, they wanted to be carried like they were in Slands. Once again, blizzard listened to healer and made everyone have good self-sustain, so healer could be walking piggy-bags.
TWW: blizzard listened to healers, as they complained that they have grown up, they no longer wanted to be party mascots. So, blizzard gutted everyone’s self sustain and here we are.

They could add/bring back Defense/Resilience

It would work like Versatility, but could be enchanted on gear through Inscription or Enchanting, or drops from bosses/M+ chests

The more Defense/Resilience tanks have the less overall damage they take and more SELF healing they do.
Capped around 20% and increased equally between self heal and damage reduction.

DPS would still need to be healed for fixates, aoe damage etc giving healers something to do, as well tanks would still need healing time to time.

Probably because tanks aren’t having as much trouble as you think they are having. Running out of CDs sounds more like they aren’t properly rotating them.

Last I checked all tanks are like B at the lowest. And all of them however ranked they are are capable of running 12s

Ignoring meta tanks since that’s another situation.

In short of the tank sucks is def because quality tank/heal quality /pull density and such ,problems

This would be awful for pugging because people would have to grind and carry multiple gear sets. Right now a lot of gear just stays the same when you switch specs.

You’re not wrong, it’s just shortsighted. I’ve had more keys tank this season than every season since I started doing keys in BFA combined (probably literally, but if not it would be close). At what cost is the preservation of prestige? I don’t care if some people fail upwards if it means when I log in my time is spent having fun.

I rolled a Warlock alt 2 days ago, I’ve only been able to do 2 keys so far because of how dead LFG is. I just want to play the game, man. Lol Having to condense what I play down to only classes that can tank or heal to get into groups quickly, or waste hours of my life in LFG every week because Blizzard made roles too difficult for below average players is the opposite of what this game should be steered towards.

There’s higher IO people can farm or even R1 titles that can set the good from the bad apart if people need to showcase how good they are, but people failing +2s and quitting the game? That sucks. Lol

If someone finds that failing a plus 2 is reasons to quit the game then they have way more problems than failing a plus 2.

Tanks are perfectly fine. Assuming you know proper CD management have prepared with routes and such. Past that there are other factors that are outside of your control. Like the healer being sub par or the DPS being low.

User error is high.

You’re free to pay for all of them to get therapy, I just don’t want the game to be dead.

hah implying that im going to deal with em. nah ill stick with running 10s and not dealing with people that think they should get myth rewards from world quests.

I don’t know, man. I guess I just don’t feel like we lose anything by other people gaining.

You can do heroic dungeons and be unable to fail.

If failing is possible, people will find a way. If you want m+ to be failure proof, that’s kinda antithetical to m+ design.

like its normal mode its called normal its the base

you get heroic its the higher difficulty ( not by much )

what where they expecting when they picked something mythic?

and beyond? what do they think mythic + means.

its like going to some single player game. picking the hardest difficulty GET A WARNING THAT SAYS THIS IS FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS AND IT WILL BE DIFFICULT EVEN THEN

start the game get murdered after the first cutscene and then write a letter to the devs that the game is too hard in hell mode.

That we like to challenge ourselves by moving to the right or the left when DBM and Weakauras tell us to. Lol

Anyway I know there’s like 5 people on this forum who would defend difficulty even if Faker was wiping in +2’s (this warrior is a new addition, so there’s now 6), but the healer/tank changes are costing me more time this season. So hopefully Blizzard takes a look at some stats and makes some adjustments going into next season. About all I can say on the topic.
