My sub is up tomorrow so I am going to catch up on a couple games I haven’t had time for. I would’ve probably resubbed if 8.3 was going to drop before holidays but the earliest I see 8.3 dropping is January 6th so I have over a month to kill.
Just wondering what everyone else is doing while you wait for 8.3?

Finish up achieves and make use of the anniversary buff to grind out old reps.

Mostly playing other games. I’ve was on Pokemon Shield a lot, but that’s mellowing out now. Still waiting on Reforged too. For WoW I’m just toying with the occasional alt.
letting my sub lapse tho it ends 12th so few more days left. exact resub date is unknown atm.
I have four more Horde to get to 120 in Korrak’s and then I’ll have all my max levels from previous expansions at max again plus one extra.
After that I am going to work on unlocking Mag’har and Zandalari Trolls.
Then I need to grind a bit of rep on a couple races and unlock all the heritage armors. I have all the races at 120 now but my Belf and Goblin aren’t exalted with their home cities. My Tauren, Dwarf, Worgen and Gnome are good to go, although it is my understanding I have to do Nazjatar on the Tauren and Gnome characters to get the quest.
Logging into a max level alt, realizing it’s a massive ducking chore to get essences, log back onto main to sit afk in dazar alor.
It’s hella fun
Getting my last 6 alts from 110 to 120 in the anniversary battleground and checking all the boxes for the horde allied races.
When there’s down time lately I’ve been working on a couple, ugh, Alliance alts to see their side of BfA. Got to admit, I do love Snug Harbor.

About three months ago I discovered something called Homecoming.
It is an active set of servers running City of Heroes, with apparent approval of NcSoft (the copyright holder). I have been playing that game ever since.
I logged in this game once in early November on one character to run the three raids and get the anniversary mount, but otherwise have not touched this game for the last three months and do not see me coming back in the forseable future.
I dunno but 8.3 has been on the ptr for… how long now?
I only log in twice a week, so I have lots to do. Lots of quests to finish up. Reps. Old content. Mogs to farm.
level my new main. kind of tired of my old main ( mage ) just gonna bench it for now maybe and level a new one. to me mage feels the same like really not much has changed since i left.
still deciding what to main though really hard for me because i have so many personal issues regarding what i want to do and what i can do realistically due to work schedule and all that.
to me though all the classes feel kind of stale tbh. that is why i might roll a class i haven’t mained in many years or try something i never mained before thinking warlock since i love casters.
I’m trying to level AP on this character. I boosted her at the very beginning of the expansion (got VE right before launch) then I didn’t enjoy early heroic scaling (was about 310 ilvl which was a pitiful experience) and I still feel like my balance druid might be an inherently stronger character. Shadow doesn’t seem too terrible in benthic even though I’m somehow 379 ivl (just one from LFR). I paid for this character, I might as well get my money’s worth.
I do have my sub cancelled. I took last month off then came back just to mess around on this alt since I heard shadow doesn’t currently suck. I’m taking the game on a month by month basis, I could be doing LFR in a month or I could be taking another break, no way to tell yet.
Do the best thing that’s been added to BfA thus far - the AV event to level toons. lol
I’ll be leveling alts through Korrak’s Revenge until the anniversary event ends. In the past month I’ve managed to raise half of my alt army, and they’ve been deployed across the universe to farm for me. So far I’ve obtained three low drop rate dungeon and raid mounts and a handful of pets/tmogs just from my newly maxed alts. I feel like an empowered overseer cackling from my mountain of acquired rares as my underlings continue to fill out my collections book.
I go back and forth between swtor lol, but I’ve always wanted a priest to level up from start to finish, I have a boosted priest but it’s not my style, so I created this guy and I’ve also always wanted the lore master achievement in general but also on one character and so I’m going for that rn I think I’ll be done with Kalimdor beginning of next week since I already getting burned out on it.
I’m also 500 rep on rust bolt away, and one emissary from unshackled away to get flying so I’ll knock that out one day when unshackled the emissary quest again so whenever I get to BFA on this guy I can fly lol
My sub ends about a week before Christmas. Until then, I’ll just be gathering pearls and hoping for a weapons upgrade. I may resub mid February, but we will see.
Stare at all the gold I could be making but realize that my job is more fun than grinding gold for Glorious Chairman Blizzard
