What are you most excited for coming in patch 9.1

I personally am hyped to finally see the promised Class Tier sets come back again, I’m tired of these shared raid sets and was the main reason why I never participated in any BfA raids

Plus we finally get to put an end to Sylvanas arc

The class sets aren’t returning yet. It’s raid themed again, the full versions of those legendary Torghast sets. Class sets will probably be in 9.2’s raid.

I’m looking forward to Korthia. New story arcs, new stuff to explore. And hopefully the end of that banshee.

How do you know they aren’t returning? Blizzard have said it multiple times in Q&A’s and interviews that Class Tier sets are returning in the next raid tier, Ion said so himself. Where did you get that they aren’t returning yet?

I’m pretty sure Blizzard said it was coming in the next raid tier, unless they lied again

I can’t even play my DK anymore.

I just look at other classes deleting things in seconds and get depressed.

They said it during the interviews at BlizzConline what the plan was for them.

Any updates for Tier Sets in Patch 9.1?

Still a concept that we really like, and we think is super cool. For the sets in the Sanctum of Domination, these are going to be Domination themed. You’ve already seen some of them with the Legendary transmogs that are available in the game right now. We’ll be adding weapon sets to those and make them available in all their colors as collectable armor sets finally. You’ll be able to have a full Domination set. But expect to hear more about tier sets as we move into the future. Not for 9.1, but potentially for future patches.

They never said it was coming for 9.1. All we ever knew was it was not planned for the start of SL (Nathria), but was intended to return in the future. We players speculated it could possibly be the next raid in 9.1, but that wasn’t confirmed by them. They didn’t give any timeframe.

I’m not sure that I’ll play 9.1 but I’m excited/hopeful that we’ll get one of those really nice high-quality cinematics. The content for 9.1 just didn’t seem compelling to me and covenant rewards were very underwhelming for me.

Honestly, it’d be awesome if Blizz just took their story and made longer cinematics. Ah well.

I’m excited about flying plus the covenant flying mounts, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the alternate colors are probably going to go for a bunch of anima, if they’re all introduced.

So I imagine the middle boy will be a quest reward and the other two will require a generous donation of anima to the cause because I’m cynical.

As for me? Honestly … there isn’t much there being offered that really interests me to be honest with you.

Covenant armor that you can mix-n-match? This option should be a thing in all armor for classes of all sorts.

An additional part of the maw opening up? Not interested in the maw to be honest, can’t see what they’d change to make me change my mind.

New Raid and dungeon? Sure the moggable legendary recolors is nice BUT I don’t have friends in game and pugging sucks so it’s not content I’ll get to enjoy.

Past that I don’t remember that much else of notice.

So yeah, no excitement here, wish I had the ability to be so excited like some people, that seem to be all ‘‘giddy’’ with excitement. lol.

I’m excited to see:

How they will change up the meta.
New raid
I guess the mega dungeon.
If we can wear 2 leggos.
How they will change pvp gearing.
If they increase pve gearing rate.
If they will change the great vault.
New storyline

Edit: oh, if they open up covenants to one toon. As in, swap abilities on the fly

Oh they are infamous for making people think they are fixing or returning things in say the first patch .

Just before Legion Launch

Hunters: Are you going to fix us before launch

Blizz: We aren’t able to get to all the classes yet we will get to them after Legion launches

Hunters: Ok it’s patch 7.1 are we going to get fixed.

Blizz: oh you thought when we told you that we would fix you after legion launched we meant this expansion . No we meant the next one after Legion.
