āSorry it took a bit. Had to find the rest of the songs.ā
āSpyder plays a wicked live guitar.ā
Where I am in life right now, this song captures perfectly. Iām learning to fly.
Hands down my favorite Tom Petty song.
I miss you Tom.
Lyrics
Well, I started out down a dirty road
Started out all alone
And the sun went down as I crossed the hill
And the town lit up, the world got still
Iām learning to fly but I aināt got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
Well, the good old days may not return
And the rocks might melt and the sea may burn
Iām learning to fly (Learning to fly)
But I aināt got wings (Learning to fly)
Coming down (Learning to fly)
Is the hardest thing (Learning to fly)
Well, some say life will beat you down
Break your heart, steal your crown
So Iāve started out for God knows where
I guess Iāll know when I get there
Iām learning to fly around the clouds
But what goes up (Learning to fly)
Must come down
Iām learning to fly (Learning to fly)
But I aināt got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
Iām learning to fly (Learning to fly)
Around the clouds
But what goes up (Learning to fly)
Must come down
Iām learning to fly (Learning to fly, learning to fly)
Iām learning to fly (Learning to fly, learning to fly)
(Learning to fly, learning to fly)
Duel of the Fates-John Williams
I sense much fear in you, Fear is the path to the darksideā¦ Fear leads to anger, Anger leads to hate, Hate leads to suffering
Lyrics
And you hear it in the morningā¦ Says the Golden Sun,
Lifeās song is moving ever onward, from and to the sound of One,
Turning in, turning out, spirals high, never down.
Wonder, wonder wanders loving, loving lovers.
Freefall, tumblinā wallsā¦
One worldā¦
Oneā¦ one truth, Heavenās above, Life is Love.
Life is love. Love is life.
Itās loveā¦ Love.

TIME TO SING SKIMBLESHANKS
Off of what I consider one of the best albums of the past decade:
But the videoā¦ is likeā¦ āwhat is this, I donāt even.ā Aside from the strange theme, keeping the two vocal tracks together - the studio version, which they had playing in the background to keep the timing right, and the singing and noises on-set - produces some interesting results.
āDrunken antics,ā for sure. They got it spot-on.
Junkie XL never gained popularity, as far as I remember, yet he created some great big beat back in the '90s when that genre was blowing up. Clearly he lived and breathed Prodigy, which isnāt a bad thing at all. Though a bit derivative, I think he hit on something cool. The whole album, Saturday Teenage Kick, is great.
Rest in peace Kenny.
