I’m thinking of leveling as Prot for the E Z mode, will it be much slower than Ret? What are you all leveling as?
I feel like prot is the fastest way to go. With everyone in the same zones, shield bouncing to 5 mobs for tags will be huge. Kill speed doesn’t matter when 30 people are farming the same mobs
100% ret, I also NEVER read quests on my first toon lol. I can enjoy lvling my alt so ill just B-line through the story as ret.
Skipping reading usually gives me a big advantage on the masses and like 3 hours in I’m questing basically alone lol.
Prot all the way. Extremely quick and way more fun rotationally than ret is. Not to mention massive pulls as per usual.
Prot always. My 2H is for emergencies only.
Prot was pretty enjoyable.

I just came back to Wow after a near year off. (Last play was April 2019) But I decided that I would dust the palley off for SL. So I got him to 50 and I put the ol Sword and Board on. Having fun as Prot…lol can still pull a bunch of mobs and tank em down. Also kills are not as slow as they used to be…it literally seems like I’m doing (gasp) DPS ???
Welp going to keep him going. I’ll probably do some mythic tanking end game…maybe try out some raids.
Prot is faster is than Ret, being able to pull multiple mobs without issue and cleave beats single target dmg. and the Kyrian ability will just straight up delete mobs if you pull them in groups of 5
