I’ve been taking a break from WoW for the last couple of months. I’ve been going through my backlog of steam games and I’ve just finished up Far Cry 3 + Blood Dragon. I’m having a hard time picking my next game but I’m thinking Rage might be a fun game to get into. Anyone else playing other games before Shadowlands launches?
I’m doing a Skryim run for the first time in years, occasionally doing some runs in D3 for the season, and doing the occasional log on to level a DK in WoW to burn rested, try to get it to 110 for the Mag’har Orc heritage armor. Was on a bit of a SWTOR kick for a bit as well.
Have you played octopath traveler yet?

Ghost of Tsushima and Persona 5 Royal.
I highly suggest Subnautica and WORLD OF HORROR on steam.
GW2 for the last two weeks. Maplestory also but its a cursed game. Weirdly enough, its the people that are keeping me away from WoW rn, not the game.
This is a very fun one. I haven’t finished, and do have a small couple of things I’m not a fan of. However it’s still a good game, and has inspiration from the old school Saga Frontier games in how the game handles its characters/story.

I’ve not. Looks fun but it’s pretty expensive. Might just save that to my wishlist when it goes on sale.
I loved it, if they made another one I would buy it right now. Im 40 years old though, those kind of rpgs are what i grew up on. I cant stand when they are remaking them with 3d models.

It’ll probably take a big cut during the steam winter sale when that happens in December. I’d definitely look out for it then.

Legends of Runeterra. It’s a pretty good card game.
Ghost of Tsushima intrigues me. I’ve heard it compared to Sekiro, and I loved Sekiro, how close are the two titles in terms of gameplay?
Sekiro’s like Dark Souls, right? It doesn’t play anything like Dark Souls.
I believe the comparison was more made with both games having bunch of different tools at your disposal and needing to figure out the right one at any given moment rather than the difficulty being Dark Souls-esque.
After I do some dailies I fire up some steam backlogs. I have several classes in legion waiting for raid resets tied to balance of power. So some time to hammer out backlog.
Dawn of war 3 bought on a steam sale a bit back is slowly being hammered out now. Lesson learned…never let nostalgia guide your purchases blindly. Its not like 1 and 2 sadly. But…I paid for it so I will at least get story complete to say I used money spent on it.
Trying to dig xcom chimera as well. Its not can’t put down worthy as its prior versions so far.

Yeah, I was talking gameplay. Not difficulty. I haven’t found the game too difficult. I think… The gameplay for Ghost of Tsushima kind of reminds me of a mix of Souls and Arkham/Spider-Man styled gameplay? If that makes sense? Regardless, it’s fun to play and it’s looks pretty good. If you like Akira Kurosawa’s films, you’ll like Ghost of Tsushima.
2nd attempt at Mass effect andromeda failing that finish off borderlands 3 dlc. May check out destiny 2.

That does make sense, that’s pretty cool, I always liked the Arkham gameplay as well.
I’ll have to keep an eye on it.
I was getting into that game. And then my mild controller drift became wtf…please stop drift.
Need to score some replacement controllers to not go hard left pretty much all the time. I can’t complain too much. It took about 2 years for the controllers to go to crap.
