When character level is 60?

Going to start off with a idk, but wanted to mention that ilvl is irrelevant in classic.

Some bis pieces are mid level greens and blues.

You can basically google “Vanilla pre-raid bis (spec/class)” and get a list for any…

If you mean Tier items, you can enter those raids at Level 58. So gear is usable for people entering the raid. Nothing more complex or sinister than that.

Most pre-raid bis gear comes from dungeons which you can enter around 55-58.

I actually stop grinding exp and start farming pre-bis dungeons once I hit 58 makes those las two levels a breeze and usually get a few pieces of pre bis before dinging 60.

ilvl is largely useless as it wasn’t truly standardized until around Wrath or Cata.

Generally an items ilvl will be 5 levels higher than it’s usability level (or innate quest-level though in the case of quest levels, but not always), but unlike after they standardized it, quality doesn’t give a definitely amount of ilvls worth of stat-budget.

In modern a green is +5, blue is +10, and Epic is +15, but in classic quality is treated more as a range or guideline in that a green should be better than a white, a blue should be better than a green, and an epic should be better than a blue of about the same level.

And then they just sort of felt it out from there, which a lot vanilla items had to be rebalanced over the course of it’s range due to a lot of items ending up over or under-powered for their what they felt was appropriate for their level/quality/challenge.

That’s what I was talking about.

Though keep in mind, several BWL drops USED to drop in MC and were removed and transitioned into BWL with their stats tweaked a bit but their ilvls not updated.

Level 58 can equip it. Your title still implies you want a list of items that are ilvl 58.
Now between the title and the question in your OP i think you’re asking why items are not level 60?

“Item level” is a term people use to describe the power level of an item and has no direct correlation to what level someone has to be to use the item.

That shield is item level 77 in classic and requires level 60 to use. You are looking at the wrong database.

Shadowstrike is an epic item from Molten core that only requires level 58 to use, (its item level 63 though) Is that something you would be interested in?
