What are the pros and cons for quitting WOW?

PROS: I dont have to do m+ or do be a hamster in a wheel for loot and MAU’s for blizzard so they can sell the company to microsoft or somewhere
CONS: have to find a new game or mmo to invest.

You know you don’t HAVE to play video games, right?

You would realize the other MMO you play are so trivial. Bosses die regardless if there are noobs.

Or less population, higher waiting times. Or the worst, npc party member, ouch

Then you would realize, you would rather do grinds on WoW than do trivial stuffs.

You don’t MAN. thanks for telling me! but what IF i WANT to play a game, do I HAVE to play or can I just WANT to play? or do I HAVE to WANT and not just WANT ?

You could get a more productive hobby, like pastry making or woodworking.

WoW has a low pop rn too. I noticed if they didnt have cross faction M+ groups alliance wouldnt be as active.

The pros of quitting WoW are that you can’t play WoW.

The cons are that you can’t play WoW.

Obviously it all depends on if you want to play WoW. If you enjoy WoW play it. If you don’t then you shouldn’t.

Ig i cant play games and have productive hobbies at the same time

PROS: you get more free time.
CONS: you lose out on entertainment value and have to find it elsewhere with said free time

Sure you can. I’m going to make a chocolate buttercream cake with ganache glaze tonight. That doesn’t actually interfere with playing the game.

There are… so many games out there and so many hobbies. You can do them. Trust me.

Unless you are married to WoW and have a contract deal with Twitch/Activision than yeah… you gotta stay. Or perish.

It’s the cheapest form of lazyness I’ve found. Unless you have another option.

I don’t really get the point of M+ beyond 10. You’re doing the “hardest” content and now it’s all gear based. It just seems like artificial difficulty.

Sir, classic doesn’t have m+.
Post on your main.

Have is a strong word here. If you’re unhappy, leave. Don’t waste 15/mo. I can recommend some mmos that are fun.

There are no pros and infinite cons to playing a MMORPG.

You’re the one that said you HAVE to, not me. Re-read your original post you massive ape.

Con: wow is familiar and provides bits of happy brain feelings when you play it.

Pro: playing eventually leads to feelings of wanting ‘more’ of those happy feels when you approach burn out or boredom

Possible solution: play part time and do something else rather than ‘forcing’ playtime. You can get two sources of happy brain tingles.

Options include: starting a new show, picking up a hobby like going through the wow cook book, or learning to draw (your wow character and their adventures), writing stories (about your wow character).

Edit; im bad at response

Does not compute…

You will do the same thing in any new MMO, if that’s you view of the game

You won’t in 10.1 either.
