Any idea what are the top 3 most bursty classes?
it comes to my mind arms warrior, destro warlock, fire/arcane mage. Probably balance druid?
I would say windwalker monk along with destro lock and fire mage. Their touch of death window is ridiculous.
Fire Mage without a doubt.
Geared Fire Mage’s are the only specs i’ve seen kill healers solo.
WW Monk is very burst heavy too.
Destro Lock has crazy burst but there burst requires a little bit of set up, where WW Monk and Fire Mage is more instant , on demand gratification.
But once they got their shards they can kill anyone in a matter of seconds.
That would be the top 3 IMO.
Balance druid is very strong for sure but I don’t think it competes with Destro or Fire.
As for Warrior I’d say Fury is way more burst heavy than Arms, especially in PVP.
And can’t have a top tier class list without mentioning the DH. They’re good at everything.
Ret has some insane burst.

Which ever class has a TD3 proc and a focusing iris blast on 2 or more mobs. And cats have a 30 second CD that can boost that iris up to 70-90% crit.
It’s powerful though, it can be made even stronger depending on the Azerite traits and Azerite essence. Combine it with corruption and the burst will melt most players in pvp.
Ret has some of the most powerful burst in the game, just too easy to telegraph and kite/cc in PvP
I think which specs are most bursty is dependent on builds. Havoc stacking full mastery/thirsting blades/nemesis/dark slash/blood of the enemy can literally 100-0 someone in 2 hits. Destro stacking full void ritual can hit for 400k bolts when the stars align. Elemental has a one shot blood of the enemy setup. Subtlety can setup 200k eviscerates, Ret can hit 200k back to back TVs with full mastery corruptions, frost DK can blow up an entire team in seconds with mastery % and chill streak etc etc
One of the highest opening pvp bursts goes to marksmanship, but they flop outside of that.

Windwalker’s damage does come in bursts, but those bursts are so low you aren’t actually going to kill anyone with it (unlike a Fire mage or Destro Lock). The class has been pillowfisted for some time now.
I wouldn’t say Balance is burst either since they mostly kite.

Storm Earth Fire, FoF, Reverse Harm, ToD are all extremely scary abilities that can shred through your health pool in seconds

Fire mage I guess because of their % max health damage and everyone walking around with 800K hp. Doesn’t matter how under geared you are, just spam greater pyro and you win. Trust me, I’m noob and I know what I’m talking about.
Arcane instantly springs to mind as bursty.

You need all the tools that come from being max level for windwalker. Storm, earth, and fire > touch of death > fists of fury > rising sun kick > whirling dragon punch. If you land all that during a leg sweep your opponent is most likely dead in PvP.
