Blizz aint gonna let you make real gold easy in old content.
I thought I could use the legion mission table to keep making gold. Bliz fixed that. lol
You’re two xpacs to late. When WoD (thankfully) ended… So did the gold.
Except for all of the old raids that you can farm, or old dungeons, or old crafting mats you can farm… but besides that, sure.

that still requires a time investment. The Blingtron vault took 10 seconds to setup, send, then like, a day wait? during which you’d just …play WoD… and then another 10 seconds for 5k or 6k gold,I forget how much it was.
I miss those Blingtron Vault missions, easy 3000 gold per character, then they buffed/nerfed it to give more gold but one per account instead of per character.
Point wasn’t about ease of access, but being able to farm old content for gold and Blizzards motives. I think most people agree that WoD era gold farming was broken. You didn’t even have to be in the game to get gold.

garrison missions still reward mounts and rep tokens which sell… but there are easier ways to make gold.

On the regular, any Garrison mission awarding resources are lucrative if you have a trading post. Herbs, Sumptuous Fur, and Raw Beast Hide, or Blackrock Ore & True Iron Ore can be sold on the auction house OR they can all be used in crafting for even more profit. Probably a combination of materials and crafted items on the auction house would put you in more markets
It can actually still be reasonably profitable, but nothing like it was in its heyday.
